Bodice
Row 1: Starting at waist, ch 30 loosely, sc in 2nd ch from
hook and in each ch across, ch 1; turn: 29 sts.
Row 2: Sc in each sc across, ch 1; turn.
Row 3: Sc infirst 14 sc, inc, sc in last 14sc, ch 1; turn: 30sts.
Rows 4 and 5: Sc in each sc across, ch 1; turn.
Row 6: Sc in first 9 sc, inc, sc in next 10 sc, inc, sc in last
9 sc, ch 1; turn: 32 sts.
Rows 7-9: Sc in each sc across, ch 1, turn.
Row 10: Sc in first 8 sc, (inc, sc in next 7 sc) 3 times, ch 1;
turn: 35 sts.
Row 11: Sc in each sc across, ch 1; turn.
Row 12: Sc in first 14 sc, inc, sc in next 5 sc, inc, sc in last

Place a marker to mark right side of work.
Row 13: Sc in first 15 sc, inc, sc in next 5 sc, inc, sc in last

Rows 14 and 15: Sc in each sc across, ch 1; turn.
Row 16: Sc in first 15 sc, dec, sc in next 5 sc, dec, sc in last

Left back
Row 1: Sc in first 8 sc, ch 1, turn: 8 sts.
Row 2: Skip first sc, sc in next 7 sc, ch 1; turn: 7 sts.
Rows 3-5: Sc in each sc across, ch 1, turn.
Row 6: Sc in first 5 sc, ch 1, turn: 5 sts.
Row 7: Skip first sc, sc in next 4 sc, ch 1; turn: 4 sts.

Row 2: Skip first sc, sc in next 6 sc, ch 1; turn: 6 sts.
Row 3: Sc in first 5 sc, ch 1; turn: 5 sts.
Row 4: Skip first sc, sc in next 4 sc, ch 1; turn: 4 sts.
Row 5: Sc in first 3 sc, ch 1; turn: 3 sts.
Row 6: Skip first sc, sc in next 2 sc, ch 1; turn: 2 sts.

With right sides facing, sew shoulder seams.
Sleeves: With right side facing, join thread at underarm (sc sp
nearest back), ch 1.
Rnd 1: Work 24 sc evenly around armhole; join to first sc,
ch 1; do not turn (now and throughout): 24 sts.
Rnd 2: * Dc in same sp to 2 loops on hook, skip next st, dc
in next st to 3 loops on hook, YO, draw through remaining
3 loops, ch 1, (Fancy Double st made, abbreviated FD st);
rep from * twice more, inc as follows: dc in same sp to 2
loops on hook, dc in next st to 3 loops on hook, YO, draw
through remaining 3 loops, ch l (inc made); inc 11 times
more, work 3 FD sts ending last st in beginning sp; join to first
dc, ch 1: 18 FD sts.
Rnds 3-5: Work FD st in each FD st around; join, ch 1.
Rnd 6: Sc in first 4 FD sts, work FD st in same sp, work FD st
in next 9 FD sts, sc in last 4 FD sts; do not join (now and
throughout). Mark beginning of each Rnd.
Rnd 7: Working in next sc, dec around: 14 sts.
Rnd 8: Dec, sc in each sc around: 13 sts.
Rnds 9-12: Sc in each sc around.
Rnd 13: SI st loosely in each sc around; join in next st; finish
off.
Skirt: With wrong side facing, working in free loops of
beginning ch-30, join thread in 3rd ch from right, ch 3
(counts as first dc), (dc, ch 1, 2 dc) in same ch, * skip
next ch,(2 dc, ch 1, 2 dc) in next ch (2-dc shell made); rep
from * 11 times more, skip last 2 chs; turn: 13 shells.
Rnd 1: Now and throughout, sl st in ch-l sp and work ch-3
for first dc. Work 2-dc shell in each ch-l sp around; join with
sl st in 3rd ch of first ch-3, sl st to first ch-l sp (now and
throughout): 13 shells.
Rnd 2: * Work 2-dc shell in ch-l sp, skip next 2 dc, dc in
next dc; rep from * around; join.
Rnd 3: * Work (3 dc, ch 1, 3 dc) in ch-l sp (3-dc shell
made), skip next 2 dc, dc in next dc; rep from * around; join.
Rnds 4-6: * Work 3-dc shell in ch-l sp, skip next 3 dc, dc in
next dc; rep from * around; join.
Rnd 7: * Work 3-dc shell in ch-l sp, skip next 3 dc, 2 dc in
next dc; rep from * around; join.
Rnds 8-21: * Work 3-dc shell in ch-l sp, skip next 3 dc, dc in
next 2 dc; rep from * around; join.
Rnd 22: Working ch 4 for first tr, * work 3-tr shell in ch-l sp,
skip next 3 dc, dc in next 2 dc; rep from * around; join.
Rnd 23: * Work 3-tr shell in ch-l sp, skip next 3 tr, dc in next
2 dc; rep from * around; join.
Rnd 24: S1 st loosely in each st around, join with sl st in first
st; finish off.
Neck edging
Row 1: With right side facing, join thread at bottom of left back
opening, sc evenly across back, work 37 sc evenly spaced
around neck edge (decreasing at corners when needed) as
follows: 8 sc to shoulder seam, 10 sc across left front, 11 sc
across right front, 8 sc to back opening; sc evenly across right
back; join, finish off.
Row 2: With right side facing, join thread at corner sp of top left back, * sc in next sc, skip next sc, 4 dc in next sc, skip next sc; rep from * 8 times more, sl st in next sc, sl st loosely in each sc across right back opening; finish off.
Finishing: Sew 3 snaps evenly spaced along back opening. Sew 4 beads evenly spaced along back opening. Sew a bead in base of each 9 shells around neck edge. Tack center of ribbon to waist at center front; tie in back.
VEIL
Rnd 1: Ch 36, join to form a ring, sc in same ch and in each
ch around: 36 sts.
Rnd 2: Ch 1, * skip next sc, 5 dc in next sc, skip next sc, sc
in next sc; rep from * 8 times more; join to first sc; finish off:
9 shells.
Finishing: Sew a bead in base of each shell. Gather one 12" end of netting, sew to wrong side of 5 back shells, leaving 4 front shells open. Trim veil as desired.
