Every so often, I do searches for such things as my high school (WRHS), friends I knew in school, etc. I found a friend from West Rome that I had lost touch with for fifteen years that way. They closed West Rome the weekend of my ten year reunion so, if you do the math, that tells you that I graduated in 1982. My Marietta Georgia-born wife and fellow former Georgia Tech student is sick of hearing about "How could they tear down West Rome and put a Sams Wholesale Club/WalMart on it!!!???".
