A 'GAME OF LIFE' SET IN THE LATE EIGHTEENTH CENTURY
1)Though no one was killed on the day of the mutiny the consequences were that twenty four of the crew of ‘Bounty’ died unnaturally as a direct result of the mutiny, all of them under forty, most under thirty and Tom Ellison the youngest of all.
Why did they die and for what?
This is the ultimate puzzle you must solve and all the clues are in the game itself.
This free game will run until it is solved.
2) At the end of the game the signed giclee canvas print will be sent to the person or persons who have collected the most sections of the painting.
3) The game has nine levels to solve. At the completion of each level you will be given a section of the painting 'Rounding Cape Horn'. Each piece is embedded with secret code and can only be found at a unique and secret address (URL).
4) It is suggested you will need to be multi-skilled to solve all levels of 'the game' and perhaps you will need to consult specalists in other fields to get ahead (such is life). Thus students might find it appropiate to form a club or multi-skilled group with specialists in language, engineering, science, math, computers, history, geograpny, politics, economics, anthropology, psychology, etc. Or you might like to trade your answers on the 'bountygame news group' site. Caution: undue haste may also lead to frustration and subtle traps. As in life, many an apparent step forward may result in two steps back. Later on you may also need to gamble some of you pieces (gains) to get ahead, but again such is life.
4) The overall basis of the game is contained in the manuscript of my Bounty novel that will be held in safe keeping and cannot be altered without re-writing over 350 foolscap pages of text, and I have no desire to do that!
5) There are no hidden costs or fees for participants as the game is educational and developed by members of the 'Cowdisley Group' for intellectual reasons. It can also be accessed from the 'mensa' site.
6) Licences and disclaimers
7) The publication for profit
of any material on the 'Bounty Game' site is conditional upon permission
