Welcome to Spirit Ring!
Each member site in Spirit Ring carries a table like the one on this page. The links in the table allow visitors to the page to move around among the other sites in the ring. They can move to the next site, the previous site, or choose a random site. In case the next or previous site is down there is also a link to "skip next" or "skip previous" to bypass the failed path. And finally a visitor can list the next five sites in the ring, or even view a list of all ring member sites. At the WebRing.org site members can view various statistics about the ring and can edit their site profiles.
Becoming a member of Spirit Ring is easy. If your site meets all of the criteria below, just submit the application form and you will be placed in the membership "queue." As soon as possible after your submission the Ring Leader, Jim Clatfelter, will review the web site to make sure that it meets the requirements for admission to Spirit Ring. If approved you will be notified to add the HTML code and graphics needed to produce the Spirit Ring box (see below).
Upon notification that your site has beed approved you should add the code and graphics (below) to your page and notify the Ring Leader once that is done. After the site is reviewed to make sure the code works, it will be moved from the queue into the ring. You have two weeks from the day you request admission to get the code and graphics added, this will be reduced by the length of time it takes to get your site reviewed. Therefore it is very important that you plan to add the code to your page as soon as you are notified that your site has been approved. If you have not added the code to your page within two weeks of your application you will be removed from the queue.
Please Note -- Spirit Ring Management tasks (like reviewing potential new sites and sending HTML to those that are accepted, etc.) are usually done only on Weekends. Therefore you may have to wait several days before you hear back on your application. Please be patient.

Please read this! Our topic and goals are listed below. Spirit Ring is not about talking to dead spirits, predicting the future, divination, or any kind of spiritualism. Other webrings are available to sites concerned with those topics.

Do not use the code that webring.com will send to you when you apply to join. I will send you the proper code if your site is accepted. Of course, you will be allowed to make minor changes to the code. For example, you may wish to change the color to blend better with your home page.
