![]() Welcome to my web page. Heck, I cannot tell a lie, it's gotta be 'our' web page, because while it's about my PBEM (Play By E-Mail) Game, it would be an uglier and possibly nonexistent site without Rick, my friend, who has done the technical parts of producing the page for me. You may applaud him. If you boo, boo me. (It's my content.). Anyway this is a Play by E-Mail roleplaying game I started based upon an old 'table top' game I ran. That set of players was the original Science team mentioned often in these pages. This site will mostly serve as an archive and showplace for this game. Let's start with the History of
the World and the Project as the characters know it: (Much of this text
comes from the Third edition MORROW PROJECT rule book by Timeline Ltd.,
though it is altered to fit my world and whims.)

"This organization brought forth the concept of the Morrow Project; an ambitious plan to cryogenically freeze special teams and equipment to aid in the reconstruction of the U.S. after nuclear war. For many years the Project secretly stored their teams to await the proper time for reawakening. Gradually their processes improved and their equipment became more advanced. In 1979, Morrow returned from a long absence bearing a small device which proved to be a functioning fusion power plant and advanced laser technology. In 1987, the Project carried out a complete updating of all the previously "stored" equipment, opening the buried and sealed chambers of the sleepers without waking them and leaving behind new equipment, vehicles, and the instruction manuals on how to operate them.

"The prime central base of the Morrow Project is a vast underground complex designed to sustain the lives of some one hundred and fifty people through the holocaust as they recorded the data linked with the war. Also to act as a central communications point for the rest of the Project when they should wake. So thorough was their recording that this base remains as the only comprehensive source of information on pre-war times.
"Members of the project wake up to a world gone mad. Instead of sleeping for 5 or 20 years, they have slept for over a hundred, the world they knew has not only disappeared in a flash of atomic fire but it is now only a legend, a memory passed down in stories and songs as the surviving members of humanity fight to survive, often against man's worst enemy....Himself."
"The Project members have no idea what happened to the Project, Prime Base does not answer, other teams do not answer...are they the only team left alive? Can their dreams and hopes have been crushed so easily? But they have already been through so much for their ideals, they hitch up their web-belts, sling a sack of hi-yield seeds over their shoulders and walk out of their hole in the ground...to a world as alien to them as any in the solar system."
