PICTURES OF BABY JANE DOE
PICTURES OF JANE DOE is a new Independent Film based on Paul Peditto's autobiographical "In the New York Times Over The Dumpling House One Chinese New Year". The Chicago Tribune called his play a "remarkable play like Jack Kerouac crossed with Raymond Chandler as filmed by Robert Altman " and the Los Angeles Times "an exceptional play that the title doesn't even hint at the chords struck by the writing"
In PICTURES OF JANE DOE, Horace (Christopher Peditto), a young aspiring writer, meets Jane (Calista Flockhart), an enigmatic waif with the ability to turn the ordinary into the exceptional. Their meeting sparks a roller coaster odyssey that begins in New York City's underbelly and ends in the seedy backstreets of Atlantic City. Horace must save Jane from destruction.
Calista Flockhart is currently Ally McBeal on the series of the same name. Prior to this hit show she starred in the Roundabout Theatre production of "The Three Sisters". Ben Brantley in the New York Times called her performance "smashing". She currently is co-starring with Michelle Phieffer and Kevin Kline in a new film adaptation of Shakespeare's "Midsummer's Night Dream".
Co-producer and star, Christopher Peditto, created the role of Horace in Chicago and Los Angeles productions of a "A Fire Was Burning..." and has performed at the MCC and the Naked Angels Theatres and has appeared in Martin Scorcese's "Color of Money" and Andrew Davis' "Above The Law". He is currently working on a new television series "Hardboiled America" and a new feature film "Black Wings Has My Angel".
Harvard & InterClub Club Members and Guests should join Cast and Crew at the Monday, May 18th, preview of this major motion picture.
