Z MUFAURWA is an exceptional young stallion, very few horses of this age carry such rare and antique Crabbet and Kellogg breeding. Farlane is a sire of Champions, as was his sire Abu Farwa. Muferra was the dam of Champion racehorse Amal Salute and the AERC Hall of Fame endurance champion RT Muffin. Muhuli sired many great offspring, winning in the show ring, on the track and in endurance, and is the foundation of VanGilderArabians breeding program. Aulrab and Aurab both have sired many International Champions. Pepe was a Champion and produced some fine performance and endurance horses in the 70's. All these horses have a renowned reputation for superb athleticism. His dam, Aura Alya, is a loud parti-colored mare, but due to a past foaling problem will have no more foals.

Z MUFAURWA got off to a rocky start as a baby, as a 3 yr old he nearly died of liver failure, surviving where lesser horses would not have. He has been ridden but his value is as a breeding stallion, carrying on the Abu Farwa/Aulrab tradition of producing fine horses. Face had only two foals in 2001, bred to two very different mares as I wanted to see what he could produce. They're fantastic! See the pictures of his first purebred foal out of MV Briar Rose, which we unfortunately lost. His second foal is now a wonderful horseZ Summer Thunder, out of the heavy *Raffles mare, Rushcreek Hollie. The quality of these foals showed us that Face will indeed be a prominent sire of the future! Due to his previous illness he will not be competing, just enjoyed as a friend and doing stallion duty. He now stands at VanGilder Arabians in Wasco, OR. I was blessed to have him and am honored to pass him to Marjorie and Dee where he will continue where his sire, FV Stoic, left off.  VanGilder's have several foals by "Face", contact VanGilders for purchase and breeding information.
