Let's get started.
~ * ~
1 ~ Choose 2 colors for your background.
I am using #c2be90 (light)
and #496340 (dark).
Make a 200px by 200px transparent canvas and fill with the darker color and make a 175px by 175px transparent canvas and fill with the other color.
2 ~ Apply Gregs Factory Output Vol 2
Pool Shadow to each canvas at the default setting, adjusting the intensity to your liking.
I usually lower it to about 65.
3 ~ Copy and paste as a new layer your 175px canvas on your 200px canvas.
Now the fun begins.
4 ~ Click on Raster 1 on the layer palette and duplicate it.
Now click on your copy of Raster 1 on the palette to make it active and go image, resize.
Using smart size and making sure resize all layers is NOT checked, resize copy of Raster 1 to 150px by 150px.
Click on your top layer in the palette (layer 2) and pull it below your copy of Raster 1.
Sharpen if you like.
5~Click on Raster 2, duplicate and resize as above only this time resize to 125px by 125px.
On your layer palette, pull your top layer
(Copy of Raster 1) down below Copy of Raster 2.
Again sharpen if you like.
6 ~ Click on Copy of Raster 1, duplicate and resize as above but make it 100px by 100px.
Again click on the top layer (Copy of Raster 2) and pull it down below the next layer
(Copy (2) of Raster 1).
7 ~ Click on copy of Raster 2, duplicate and resize as above except make it 75px by 75px.
Again pull the top layer (Copy (2) of Raster 1) below the next layer (Copy (2) of Raster 2 .
8 ~Click on Copy 2 of Raster 1, duplicate and resize as above except make it 50px by 50px.
Again pull the top layer (Copy(2) of Raster 2)below the next layer (Copy (3) of Raster 1).
Are you confused yet?
Its really not as complicated as it seems, just a lot of words .
Now your tile and layer palette should look like this

9 ~ Click on Copy (2) of Raster 2
and apply FM Simple Diamonds.
Merge all layers and Apply Simple Quick Tile.
And thats it.

The possibilities are endless with this one.
Here are two other variations following all the same steps up to and including step 8.
9a ~ Click on Copy(2)of Raster 2
Apply Simple Diamonds.
Click on Copy of Raster 2.
Apply Simple Diamonds .
Click on Raster 2 and apply Diamonds again.
Merge all, flatten.
Apply Simple Quick Tile and FM Blend Emboss at the default setting.

Another variation.
9b ~ Click on Copy(3)of Raster 1
Apply Simple Diamonds.
Click on Copy (2) of Raster 1.
Apply Simple Diamonds .
Click on Copy of Raster 1 and apply Diamonds.
