The Kevins' Maps of Washington, DC

These maps are to give an idea of the area that Kevin and Kevy are exploring most of the time.

Washington Mall (158K)

The large park in the center is The Mall.  It is about 1800 feet (550 meters) between Constitution Avene on the north to Independence Aveune on the south.  It is about 1.2 miles (1.9 km) from the Capitol building (on the east) to the Washington Monument (in the center).  The White House, at 1600 Pennsylvania Avene, NW,  is just above the fancy star indicating that this city is the country's capitol.  Union Station is northeast of the Capitol.

Washington Mall East (112K)

This map is a close up of the eastern part of The Mall.  The map maker has been able to add the labels for the National Air and Space Museum on the south side and those for the National Gallery of Art on the north side.  What is not clear from the little squares is that the museums are generally a block long.  Kevins' hotel is just north of the Robert A. Taft Memorial between Union Station and The Mall.
