Seminar Proposals for Bangladesh and Vietnam
This year "Teachers Helping Teachers" has sponsored three seminars. They were held in the spring and summer of 2007. The seminars were conducted in Bangladesh, Vietnam, Laos.
Anyone interested in participating in these seminars in 2008 as a presenter is invited to submit proposals for evaluation and acceptance. Applicants are usually expected to possess post-graduate degrees with experience in giving presentations at international conferences, but each case will be judged accordingly.
Presenters are invited to submit at least three proposals in any area of teacher training and development. (Reading, Writing, Listening, Materials development, Methodology, CALL, Curriculum development, Class management etc.)However, for Bangladesh CALL presentations may not be appropriate for most teachers.
If you would like to submit a proposal for any of our seminars please access the proposal form by clicking on the appropriate link below. You may apply for one or more seminars. Highlight the proposal form, copy it into a word document and complete. Save the document and send it as a file attachment. Label the document with the name of the seminar to which you have applied followed by a hyphen and your name. (eg. Vietnam seminar-Jones) Also, send your proposal as a "cc copy" to the contact person in the host country.
We are currently accepting proposals for our Laos 2008 program. The program will be at the Lao American College from March 20 -29, 2008. If you are interested in participating in this seminar please apply below.
