Current Mileage: 26853 as of 5/28/2001
My wheels. My ride. The whip. MY BABY!! This is a section of X Life that is dedicated to my Aquamarine 2000 Dodge Durango SLT. She goes by the name of Dango. I know I know, a manly name for a feminine car but she's a tomboy. Purchased May 31, 2000, she was practically a virgin to the live and die streets of Atlanta, Ga. With over 4500 miles (as of July 20, 2000), it's safe to say she's progressed quite a bit from her 55 miles at the time of purchase.
Arriving at the dealer on Nov 3, 1999, Dango is a voluptious Scorpio. She likes long drives, fast nights, and is absolutely repulsed by dirt. Granted she is a SUV, with a bit of a personality complex, but she just doesn't like to be dirty. She loves a camera so check out some of her first glamour shots.
UPDATE:
Dango has gone through a few cosmetic changes. Her photo
shoot has not yet been scheduled but it will occur soon. Please check
back
in the coming weeks to see her new look!

Well, it's been awhile since my baby's exploits have been updated. I actually purchased a digital camera but was forced to return it due to several issues. Hopefully, I will be purchasing another within the next month so that I may post a photo shoot.
Dango has been very busy as you can tell by her mileage. It's hard to believe we've been together for over 9 months now. But it has been a blissful nine months. I'm not as far along with personalizing my baby as I would like to be but all things come in time.
She's recovering from yet another trip to Miami this past weekend. Once again, she was turning heads left and right due to her rare body color. Aquamarine was a new color for 2000 but I have only seen one other Durango with the same color as mine. And there are a lot of D's out there. I kinda like it that way though.
Nothing much to add here. Purchased some Super Blue Headlights today, will hopefully install this weekend. Get rid of that dull yellow that came with her. Also got her some windshield blades. The originals had deteriorated in a bad way. I'll leave it at that.
I'll be adding more links to the Dango's Link page in addition to the banner below. Keep an eye out! It will include accessory websites as well as discussion groups and some of my favorite sites from the Durango Webring below. Check them out they are really worth it.
