After months of rumoured "courting" Jerry Stackhouse finally came clean and made an honest mascot to his longtime "friend" GWiz last week, accoording to sources. The two held hands publicly white touring the Newseum in Rosslyn, Va., followed by a dinner with friends and family at Dupont Circle's Lucky Bar.

Socialite Terry Kingfisher finally broke his silence on best buddy Stack's relationship, insisting his longtime pal has never been happier. "Even when he lost his virginity, he wasn't this happy," the renowned celebrity host quipped of Stack, 29, in an interview aired on "Extra" last night.

How serious have things gotten? Will the 4th time be a charm for this charming tall blue winner?

GWiz says the key to their relationship is that they became friends first. "In the beginning, us having the opportunity to become friends for a very long time without ever any romantic thing at all was a very big plus for us. We talk about everything and we support each other to the end."

GWiz's appearance comes on the heels of a Post story last week in which some residents of GWiz's old Anacostia neighborhood said the mascot has ignored them since hitting it big.

The story noted that GWiz showed up in the neighborhood in a black Lincoln Navigator for an interview with ABC's Diane Sawyer - but that excited fans were shoved aside by bodyguards.
