| The Wishek Fire Dept was organized in 1913 and serves a population of about 1500 people and 460 sq miles, in south central North Dakota. With 32 volunteer firefighters and a fleet of 9 units the Dept stands ready to assist in any emergency. The goals of the Dept are to prevent fires, promote safety, save lives, and protect property.
