Starmyst Market Stall

Important Note!
[june 11/03] I am no longer very active in the markets. Perhaps this will change the following summer, perhaps not. If you're looking for my normal adoption agency, Avara, it may be found at http://avara.dot.nu (reachable also at the older URL, http://minidragon.cjb.net). I will be adopting the critters listed below periodically at that site, and perhaps a couple different ones as well. :3
Hope to see you there! ^_~

anuni
Large unicorns composed mainly from the elements. Mares have long, shiny manes and tails; stallions have dragon-like spikes instead of a mane and are more rare. Their offspring take on the colouration of the parents' surroundings.

calei
Canine/equine crosses with long ears. Mane stylings are a source of pride for these creatures; calei who have intricately styled manes are most admired. Quite vain animals.

equii
The oldest species of creatures bred by Misty, they are equine/feline crosses, but barely show more feline traits than a tail or paws. They have a huge variety of different markings and colours, and have two different types of fur- soft fur with detailed markings, or shiny but slightly stiffer. The latter usually sports long fetlock feathering.

featherfins
Generally aquatic bird-like creatures. They have soft, clouded colourings, and are quite friendly. Very small, and don't get along very well with the windwings.

melia [marketplace-exclusive]
Aquatic equine-like creatures. Females are very supersitious. They are slightly larger than the featherfins, and, like the anuni, always sport unicorn horns. Mutated melia are shunned by others of their kind.

petiqui [market-exclusive]
Bred specially for the Market, petiqui are like equii, but much smaller. Their ranking and theme system is much more simple- it's nonexistant. Usually have a marking on their rump signifying gender.

swilue
A newly discovered species, swilue are small dragons, a bit smaller than a small cottage. They have wild temperaments and the males are prone to mood swings. Females are usually patient and kind (for dragons, anyway..) but, as always, personalities can and will vary. There are not very many in existence.

windwings
Their origins are unknown. They possess wings that are similar to those of a dragon and have finned wing-ears. Some of their kind have tails. Their legs are very spindly and weak, so they need to use their wings to support themselves.
