Welcome back to another fun-filled year of Newcomers!!! I hope everyone had a fun and relaxing summer.

I am so grateful to have so much help and support from the board members and activity leaders. Thank you all so very much!!! Diana Kopp will be helping Diane Robinson this year with membership, Melissa Draper is our Treasurer, Donna Hayes will be sending out our Newsletters, Dyan Ciccone will be working on the web site, and Alix Porras will be doing publicity again this year.

Newcomers News Annual Kick-Off Newcomers will kick off its 2008/2009 season on October 1st, Nesmith Library, beginning at 7:00 PM. Hope to see you there!

This month’s newsletter is filled with fun activities. I hope each one of you can enjoy several of the fun activities this year. October is a great month to get out and enjoy the fall weather. Walking on the Windham Trail on Monday mornings with the Outdoors Club is a great way to do that. They also have some other great outings planned for this month. Check them out in the newsletter.

Our Annual Kick-off social is going to be at the Nesmith Library on Oct 1st, at 7:00. It's a great night to get caught up with everyone and see what will be going on this year and to sign up for activities.

I hope we can bring more new members into Newcomers this year.  I can use your help in getting the word out. Like always, feel free to bring a neighbor (new or old) to any activity.
