| Fundraisers All funds raised by the Wilmot Learning Place go towards salaries, operation expenses and rent. So, if you want to make a contribution that goes right where you want it to go, donate to the school. Not only will it make a positive local impact but it is also tax deductible. Rockwell's at the Inn Thursday's Child on Thursday, January 22 Rockwell's is continuing the Thursday's Child fundraiser for local non-profits. This is our evening to earn 50% of the profits from the tavern and the main dining room. Please book your babysitters early and consider joining friends (girlfriends?) at a table for dinner and drinks. For reservations call 526-2791. 9th Annual Kid's Stuff Sale will be held on June 6 and 7 Please consider saving and donating your gently used clothing, toys, and kids gear to the sale. The holiday season is a great time to clean out the closets and make room for the new. We are accepting mouse-proof stuff - storing it where we can until the sale. Please email or call Jen Tockman if you would like to donate at njhatockman@comcast.net or 526-7228. We are also looking for space to store things as they are donated, so if you have a clean, dry space over your garage, in a barn, corner of your basement, etc, that you'd like to donate for storage, please also contact Jen Tockman. Volunteer sign up sheet will be going up in April and May. Donate to WLP while you shop online! Use GoodSearch.com to search the Internet. Every time you do, money goes to the school for each search. Choose the Wilmot Learning Place as your charity. GoodSearch now has GoodShop where the vendors donate up to 30% of each purchase to the Wilmot Learning Place.
