WILMINGTON ARTS COUNCIL  -  SPRING CLASSES 2008

 The Wilmington Arts Center will be buzzing with new activity, as we wait the coming of spring.  Louise Anderson will be starting her watercolor classes on Thursday, March 6.  There are two classes, one from 9:30AM to noon and the other from 1:00 to 3:30 PM.  Louise has been teaching at the Arts Center for many years.  She teaches beginners and more advanced students the techniques of watercolor – landscapes, still-lives, skies and flowers.  Louise’s classes run eight weeks for $120 for the whole session.

 Also starting this week on Friday, March 7, Susan O’Briant will be teaching oils and acrylics.  She teaches both beginners and more advanced students.  Susan classes are from 9:30 to noon on Friday mornings.  Payment for Susan’s classes is by the month, each class is $15.  Both Louise and Susan are wonderful working artists.  For more information on these and other watercolor classes by Carolyn Latanision (Monday evening and Tuesday morning), you may call Jane at 978-658-9798.

 ART SHOW

 The 28^th Annual Art Show will be held June 21 and 22.  Get that artwork finished up and enter the show!  Monetary prizes and ribbons will be awarded.  There will be two concerts and a wonderful reception on Friday night.  Applications will be available at the end of April at the town hall and the library.  If you entered last year, you will receive one in the mail!
