Ightenhill Nursery School, Burnley ![]() We are at Ightenhill nursery Monday and Tuesday creating a willow tunnel for the garden. We are building it over an existing path and the children are helping by making holes and each planting a willow rod. The weather was wet and cold today. At the weekend we cut some willow and it was too hot to wear a coat!

LIving Willow Tunnel ![]() We has just got back from building a living willow tunnel at The Birches School, Didsbury, Manchester. The project took 2 days and we worked with most of the children at the school. The school is a special needs school and the children enjoyed getting involved in the building of the tunnel. They also had a go at making willow garlands and fish, and Simone made small stars for most of the children.
