With Windows 7 launch on the horizon, the incompatibility problem can only get worse.

The program has performed satisfactorily for many dog breeders for more than a decade.

Adds a listing of dogs with missing sire or dam names
Adds a title search to the search routine
Adds summary statistics to the ancestor table
Adds an option to extract and export a subset of the database including all the dogs with names containing a specified text string (such as a kennel name) and their ancestors.
Adds an option to build an ancestor table with % Blood contributions.
Corrects a minor error in the calculation of genetic risks.
Incorporates modifications to AKC entry forms for Show/Obedience and Agility
Adds kinship coefficients and coefficients of relationship to batch job options.
For selected dog when in "Read Only" mode provides quick list of:

Siblings
Half-sibs

2. -- Dog breeders who are interested in evaluating the inbreeding status of dogs in their breeding lines may find the short program, Visible COI, of interest. This program uses path tracing to identify common ancestors and compute the COI.

3. -- For those using MS Word to format and print pedigrees, a Word template and associated macro are available and can be downloaded to help with data insertion and document formatting.

-- For those working with MS Excel an Excel workbook for pedigree layout in a spreadsheet format is also available.

This pedigree program was written for my personal use using the Microsoft Visual Basic programming language to keep track of my dog records and to evaluate and print out trial pedigrees for proposed breedings. All versions were developed as 16-bit applications using VB 3.0 and are limited to a maximum of 32,000 dogs per dog list.

Download the program set-up file to an empty temporary directory,
UnZip the file pedigree412.zip
Run the executable file pedigree412.exe to install the program.

Unzip the downloaded file and and replace the older version with the new PEDIGREE.EXE file.
