The American Legion Riders are members of the American Legion, Sons of the American Legion and the Legion Auxiliary who are also motorcycle enthusiasts. The American Legion Riders were formed... • To participate in parades and other ceremonies that are in keeping with the aims and purposes of the American Legion. • To promote motorcycle safety programs and to provide a social atmosphere for American Legion members who share the same interest. • To use our association to promote and support programs of the American Legion. The American Legion Riders is not an M/C, and does not practice M/C rules or regulations. The American Legion Riders is family oriented, just as its parent organization: The American Legion. Who can Join? • Membership is open to any member of the American Legion, American Legion Auxiliary, or Sons of the American Legion. If you are not currently a member, and wish to join contact John Chizmar by sending an email to: ALRChapter555@aol.com or contact your local post in the town in which you live. • You must have a motorcycle of 350cc or larger or be the spouse of an owner who is an association member. • Annual dues are $15.00. Who are the American Legion Riders Chapter 555? Chapter 555 is the American Legion Riders Chapter that has formed at Albert E. Schwab Post 555. You do not need to belong to Post 555 but must be affiliated with the American Legion through a Post, Sons, or Auxiliary.
