Kim's Quilts
About me: After 30 years of wanting to learn how to quilt, I finally took the first step and began quilting 12/4/00. I prefer handwork to machine, but I do a lot of both. I've completed several quilts, wall hangings and two king size hand quilted bed quilts.  At home I sew on a Bernina 200E.
I sincerely enjoy meeting fellow quilters, which has been an equally gratifying part of my new hobby. I host a non-guild Sit n Sew group called  Land of Cotton Quilters which meets at our home the 1st and 3rd Tuesday mornings. I also belong to Cabin Fever Quilt Guild, Orlando, Fl

"The simple fact is that quilts were hand made by people for people. Every phase of quilt  production was permeated by giving and sharing. From the trading of scraps and patterns and the actual production in "bees" to the giving away of the final finished work, quilting is an essentially human activity. There is something about a quilt that says people, friendship, community, family, home, and love." -- Foxfire 1'
