| October 10th is the last day to register to vote! We need to elect officials who care about our Veterans! THIS WEEK'S ISSUES: USAF Secretary: Use Nonlethal Weapons on US Citizens First--Air Force Secretary Michael Wynne suggests that newly developed nonlethal weapons be used "on American citizens in crowd-control situations before being used on the battlefield," according to a CNN report. "If we're not willing to use it here against our fellow citizens, then we should not be willing to use it in a wartime situation." CNN quotes Wynne as stating. GAO Reports Security Conditions in Iraq Worsening--Despite the expenditure of more than $435 billion and the commitment of some 138,000 military personnel, the overall security situation in Iraq has "deteriorated and grown more comples," during fiscal years 2003 to 2006, according to a just-released study by the Government Accountability Office (GAO). Bush to Bomb Iran--"Senator Joe Liberman, a Democrat, (said) "Mr. Bush is expected to be faced by the decision (to criminally bomb Iran) within two years." More balderdash--the US plans to bomb Iran next month or soon thereafter. It wants Iran wasted sooner before later. Last week Vladimir Zhirinovsky, leader of the Liberal Democrats in Russia, told the Ekho Moskvy radio station "that the Muslim (cartoon) riots were orchestrated by the US to garner European backing for the military strike," and the "war is inevitable because the Americans want this war." Any country claiming a leading position in the world will need to wage wars. Otherwise it will simply not be able to retain it's leading position," as well spelled out by the PNAC maniacs who have captured the flag in Washington. |

| The purpose of our website is to help the Veterans who have been forgotten! All donations will be distributed directly to Veterans in need, bypassing the red tape of government. Our goal is to help as many Veterans as possible. At present, we are organizing a trip to Ground Zero in New York City to make the public aware of what is happening to our Veterans. We will be making a documentary of our travels to further our cause. We want the public to know the true story! We want congressmen to be aware of what is going on at the local level. Many politicians are out of touch and continue to vote for cuts of Veterans' benefits. We will be interviewing real people with real problems--Veterans, families of Veterans and civilians. We want to reach as many people as possible in hopes that something can be done to stop the mistreatment of our Armed Forces. This site will be updated weekly with new issues that face real Veterans (not what the government wants you to hear!). At present I am accepting donations that will enable my crew to travel (in my 1984 RV, not a luxury trip) to as many Veterans Hospitals as possible to film a documentary and to help real Veterans who need financial help. Please send donations to Veteran for Veterans Rights, 3288 Cicero Road, L1, Noblesville, IN 46060, (Make checks payable to S. Morris), or you can send donations through Paypal to veteranforveteransrights@yahoo.com (You can use your credit card). Any help you can provide would be appreciated. I will send you an email and show you how your donation helped a Veteran or many Veterans. |
