The WHS Green Team Website
Who are we?
We are a student organization dedicated to the greening of WHS and the education of our school community about environmental topics such as conservation, recycling & green energy.

What does it mean to be green?
Being "Green" has come to mean behaving or being environmentally friendly in nature.  Conserving natural resources and energy are "green" ideas.  Do you care about global warming?  Pollution? Natural habitat?  If the answer is yes, you are probably some shade of green!
Everyone can be green and have an impact. Choose to be green by recycling your garbarge, conserving energy in your home, and reducing your impact on the atmosphere.  Read here for some great suggestions about how you can
be green at home and at school.

Where do we meet and how can you get involved?
We meet at 7:30 am on Day 6's  in the Mac Lab. We're open to anyone at WHS and even the community. Feel free to email us or just come to a meeting. We'll be glad to have you!

Next Meeting: Thursday, November 6th, 2008
