Welcome to the "Cliff Bowman's Homepage". I'll be replacing this old who3D stuff with newer stuff in the REAL NEAR future (heard that one before? Me too!). Don't forget the main who3d site (instead of thsi personal one) is at www.who3d.com.
If you're looking for the latest status of the Who3D group then you're probably better off visiting our new site, which is now open at who3d.com. This site still has more images in the gallery, and more contact information, but the new site is gaining ground rapidly (and already has more animations than I could fit on geocities).
This site will remain, however, and will soon transform itself into Cliff Bowman's home page.

It's been pointed out that I've been delinquent - I've posted up a preview of the video diary which will be hosted at www.who3d.com but while there's a link to it at "Missing Doctor Who" and rec.arts.drwho has been alerted, I didn't put a link on here. this is partly because I hoped we'd be moving over to who3d.com a little faster, but as the new site isn't ready yet... here's a link to the Preview Video Diary. Please note that I've just about run out of web space so there are unlikely to be any more updates to the video diary until who3d.com opens (which is a shame, because work has progressed. Still - this does mean that who3d. com will have some new material the very second it opens!).
Oh - and for anyone who's seen the diary once, and thinks that there's just 3 animations there - well. There are now 5, one of which is a large and very different animation.

Great things are afoot. Which is not to say that only items measuring 12" are worthwhile, or that I'm a foot fetishist. Just that "things are happening". One of these things is that Who3D have been offered web space elsewhere. I'll let you know when, but this site will become "Cliff Bowman's homepage" rather than Who3D central, as Who3D moves over to who3d.com :)
The main consequences of this will be that you'll probably want to update your bookmarks sometime in the new year, and that we'll have a LOT more space to show you stuff in (to be honest, the geocities site has been creaking at the seams for some time, and has severely limited the size and number of animations we could make available).
As a secondary consequence we'll hopefully come up with a slightly nicer web page design. Whilst the web page will always be secondary to actually working on the 3D models, it's been suggested that we could put just a *little* more effort into making the site look nice. So we'll give it a go, see how it affects the speed of download and the compatability with various browsers, all without having to affect the original site to try out new designs. It's a winner :)

A few very minor updates as I gear up to the "merging" of efforts between Who3d and "The Doctor Who Project". Part of which will involve the "Retracing The Past" gallery moving to Gareth's site, and exploding into the extra storage space he's got. At least - that's the plan. now all I need is the time to put it all together...
Please do consider using the message board rather than the guestbook - the messageboard allows you tochat with each other as well as with the Who3D gang - potentially so much nicer than just the rare comment back from me.
While I'm doing an update - let's show off some of the images that SFX Magazine recently saw and which prompted their coverage of the site, shall we? The new "About The Group" page goes into a little more depth about what we're doing and also shows off a bit more of the range of art the group has produced. Note that there is some repitition with the recently extended "Retracing The Past" gallery (and for several of those images you'll see why).
If you suspect you have anything to offer - from 3D skills, through audio skills to simply having time (either to learn or for your PC to render images for us) then please do Join Up.
