He married 4 Oct 1858, in St. Leodegarius, Basford, Nottingham, Harriett Hoar, 
Harriet was born c.1841, London, Middlesex, England, daughter of Stephen Hoar

Lewis Watson and Harriet Hoar had two sons:-
George Watson born c.1863, Hyson Green, Nottingham, occupation Engine Driver.
and Arthur L. Watson born 1861, Hyson Green, Nottingham, Son of Lewis Watson and Harriet Hoar
He  married Elisa Ann Savage, born 1860, Hyson Green, Nottingham, (daughter of Henry Savage)
Eliza died 1936, Latrobe, Westmoreland Co, PA, buried Unity Cemetery, Latrobe, PA.
Arthur died 1945, Latrobe, Westmoreland Co, PA, buried Unity Cemetery, Latrobe, PA.
