RAKU ORCHID POTS

Unique and one-of-a-kind functional art. I am endeavoring to create the perfect orchid pot. Tall foot for drainage, lots of holes for air and for the roots to peak out of.   A little bottom weight for stability for the plants that prefer an asymmetrical growth pattern.   Simple shape for ease in getting them out when it's time to replant.  The spontaneity of Raku glazes seems to complement orchid foliage.

Prices on Orchid Pots range form $15. to $30 depending on size and decorations.

Visit our friends at mistexotics for more great Orchid stuff.

EYE-LEAN

Which way does your Eye-Lean?

        profilrrightfull.JPG (25018 bytes)  tophalf.JPG (50275 bytes)  headright.JPG (62345 bytes)  backfull.JPG (26986 bytes)

As you can see, Eye-Lean is no ordinary mannequin.  She has a function beyond eye candy. Her head is adorned with beads, old Rhinestone jewelry, Austrian Crystals, and aluminum wire.  Her body is covered with seed beads, Mardi gras beads, mirrors, fur, various and a sundry beads and jewels, and a “tattoo” of Kwan Yin.  One arm and hand is gloved and feathered, the other, 1000’s of beads.  One leg is predominantly fish net hose and mirrors.  Her other leg bears a coat of mink and beads.  She is perched on a mirrored and beaded stand.  Eye Lean currently enjoys gazing out the window of Fleming Photo in West Plains, Missouri.  She has visited a local museum, and has hung out at some art shows and craft sales.  She always provokes someone to take a look at his or her aesthetic or moral leanings.   She is named Eye Lean for two reasons.  One, unlike her self, is simple and practical.  She leans.  The co-reason is that she tends to inspire a wide variety of comments and reactions, depending on how ones’ “eye leans”.   She is a unique piece of art, a provoker of conversation, and just pretty to look at. Eye-Lean’s price is $6750.00.  Shipping will depend on her destination and mode of transportation, and is probably limited to Continental U.S.
