Characters
Balto is the main character in the movie. He's half-husky half-wolf and is a total outcast. When he gets cheated out of being in the sled team and finds out the teams lost he goes to find them and ends up bringing the medicine back.
Jenna is a red-brown Siberian Husky and she is the dog everyone likes. She's rosie's dog and is balto's friend. She even lends him her bandana when he goes to get the medicine. As the story goes on Balto and Jenna start to fall in love.
Boris is a Russian Snow Goose. He's also balto's best friend. He gives Balto advice and helpes him through the rough times. He's called "Uncle Boris" by the two polar bears, Muk and Luk. He also says the famous lines, " Balto, A dog cannot make this journey alone, but maybe a wolf can.
Every Movie has to have a bad guy, so here he is: Steele. He's a Black and White Alaskan Malamute. He teases Balto and trys to get Jenna to like him. But he doesn't and Jenna even calls him a lier in front of all the other dogs. At the end Steel gets left in the dust.
Muk and Luk are the two polar bear cubs that call Boris their Uncle. They are balto's friends and they don't know how to swim! But in the face of balto drowning they face their fears of water and save him. They are always driving Boris crazy but they really are sweet.
Nikki, Kaltag and Star are what Balto Fans call the Trio. They run in Steele's team. They act like they like him but talk about him behind his back. Kaltag usally bonks
Star on the head after he says something stupid.
The white wolf is the most mysteryous and graceful character in the movie even though she only takes up a minute of the movie. She comes to balto in a blizzard and shows him courage and that he can get the medicine through. (she's also my fav. character. My fav. animal is wolves.)
