For many generations, shamans have been performing different feats of unusual types of healing, but this type of
healing is very different than most. This is called spirit and soul retrieval. Through my elders teachings, I do
what is called a blanket ceremony.
Before I go any further into the blanket ceremony, let me explain why it is required and how. Soul and spirit
retrieval takes place when one receives unsettledness in their lives. Not exactly physically; its unconsciously;
spiritually, mentally,emotionally.
We all go through trauma in our daily lives, and yet we don't want to see the reality in this picture, or in other
words we do not wish to face certain responsibilities. So our pain hides inside a safe zone in the unconscious,
hoping that it will never come to the surface.
Only to realize that the older we become, the harder it is to forget or a key word or signal will reoccur in the back
of the brain and awakens the pain we've suffered emotionally. (eg.) We've walked on this earth for many
lifetimes, past and present. Most often we've experienced a breakup of a relationship, and the partner does not
want to give you up.
So he or she will say to you unconsciously...I WILL NOT GIVE YOU UP... FOR AS LONG AS I LIVE... OR I
WILL NEVER LET YOU GO...WE WILL ALWAYS BE TOGETHER FOREVER, FOR ETERNITY... now this can
sound like a bad situation or a good one. I'm sure you've experienced that empty feeling inside once you've ended
the relationship, its like a little part of you is missing. This is unconscious soul loss; bits and pieces of it was
taken unknowingly.
It is the power of the words that are expressed that create the reality.
Another situation is an entity intrusion. These are people who have passed and have no idea that they have passed
and decided to go to someone else, needing to remain on the Earth plane.
But most of the time these entities are very angry, not wanting to accept their death and or once in a while,a dark
entity will try to possess the body when the immune system of the low self-esteem is down.
It is absolutely necessary to learn to love yourself and others, and not always be angry with others.
Especially the ones who wish for revenge; that is the lowest a person can be, to be dark inside their heart. The
dark forces feed on this.
Always pray for the highest and truest of God's love and never be ashamed of what you do. The Great Spirit
always loves you. The other situation is child or sexual abuse. This could come to the surface as we get older, as
well.
Then there is God's messengers, of whom he is seeking.
We all come into many catagories. God's messengers are the one's who have been seeing or feeling strange inside
or able to talk to the people who have passed away (the awakening), and they don't know why or how. There is no
harm in that, this will be your job, having to help others to make amends with families and becoming the healer
for the many that will come into your path. They did not have the chance to say goodbye to their loved ones.
So, the shaman, journeys out with his or her spiritual helpers on behalf of the client to look for any soul parts or
essences that are ready and willing to come home to the client's body at this time. This where the blanket

BLANKET CEREMONY
The blanket ceremony experience was passed down from my Elders. Many journeys we have travelled, through
many generations. At long last, the blanket ceremony has come to embrace the karmic past. The songs of the
ancient ones come through by guiding the recipient into a retrieval of his or her insight, to raise them from the
other side of a dimensional trail. Retrieving these souls and spirits of many generations of karmic ties of loved
ones in the netherworld, and where they come to understand the path they chose.
The day will come to return all souls to each and every individual. The souls were lost through many ancestral
quests defeating or giving up a part of themselves in order to recieve riches and hierarchy. They sold their souls or
they sent them away to make a trade for a better life and happiness: taking the easy way out.
We may think: why did we have to deal with that sort of unhappiness and greed? Back then it is necessary to be
important in society. How we lived; where we lived; and what you wore. High society took away your power to be a
human soul. So you fought by their side, needing to feel important. Some did not fight, they sold their souls to
gypsies or black magic and wizards. These did exist then, as they do exist today.
When one feels empty of normal emotions, but feeling of unworthiness; that is the soul, craving to be returned.
Your incarnation of a past life gave away or sold their soul for happiness, now you must pay for it. You are that
incarnation repeating again that journey, and must decide whether or not you want to take the easy way out.
There are different ways in which a blanket ceremony is performrd, for every medicine man/woman or shaman
have their own particular healing methods. Not all traditions follow the same set lines.
The following description of the blanket ceremony is guided by Spirit and performed by the author, Whiteskycloud.
The blanket ceremony of the shaman, his drum, his songs of healing, his medicines you take, and prayers, many
prayers, help you bring back your whole being by calling out your name of birth-right. To be the wholeness is the
oneness of God's children.
You must be aware of what you get into. With the guidance of the shaman and the netherworld spirits, who assist
in returning the goodness to the stone heart caught in the crevices of time past. When the inner child retrieves
that stone heart, it must be broken so that lost loves feel only the compassion, and forgiveness and not convictions:
the state of being or proved guilty.
Many healing songs are sung to honor the Great Spirit and also to honor the return of soul and Spirit.
A Sacred Spirit knife is used, in a criss-cross movements, removing negative energies from around the physical
and etheric bodies.
The body is anointed with Sacred water that is prepared for the client according to the instructions from Spirit.
After the Spiritual Baptism, the body feels light for a time. Allow the body to get used to the wholeness over all
your being, as harmony returns to the whole body spirit cells.
After the ceremony is completed, you return home to a finishing cleanse in a Epson salt bath containing the
Sacred water residue. This soothes and relaxes the physical body and clears any leavings from the cutting away of
negative energies.
The cutting from the spirit's bodies with the sacred spirit knife also honors the Grandfathers and Grandmothers.
They sit in the council judging the outcome for the recipient. Charms, stones, trinkets worn by the recipients will
not have full protection until the ceremony has been performed, and they are cleansed.
Once one experiences the Spirit blanket, the soul excels and grows with harmony. This takes place in the home of
the medicine man/shaman, for his haven is well protected as he is pure of heart.
This cleansing ceremony has been guided and passed down by many generations of family traditions. The ancient
ones always hold council for anyone experiencing the blanket ceremony. They must be guided and feel safe before
ceremony begins.
Not everyone will have the honor to experience this Spirit guided and enlightened ceremony. For those who will be
guided, the time will come.
Everyone heals in a different way, some might be similar, but never duplicated. Everyone experiences a different
state of mind travel, with the eagle and the bear spirits. The flying ones and the four-legged will walk with you, to
guide you down the road and harmony and protect you while you retrieve the pieces of the stolen heart and soul
