Louis Cha

Louis Cha was born on the 6th of Febuary in 1924 in Hangzhou. His full Chinese name is Cha Leung Yung and his pen name is Jin Yong. He is a believer of Buddhism.

He is one of the most outstanding writers of the modern Chinese literature. His novels are extremely popular in China and Hong Kong. Most of them had been made into many TV series. Lots of his works are also officially in the progress of being translated to English. As a famous Hong Kong journalist and political activist, he has spent more than 30 years working as a professional in the press field.
