Okay, all jokes aside.
There's something that happens when you listen to music. It's the one pervasive element in the world that can block out everything else - no matter what's happening, no matter what I have in my life that makes me want to cry or scream or laugh, I can sit down and hit that volume button. I can close my eyes, and just vibe.
And if you wonder why I'd single out Chris Tanna, look at his lyrics.My first IME album, I sat down and looked at those liner notes and wanted to cry because there was so much in there that I saw and that, for lack of a better phrase, meant something to me. I just really respect the guys art is all.
Plus, Christian Tanna's really fucking cool. I saw him on TSN's sportscentre and the man is just really fucking cool - I mean, I don't want to sound like a fan or anything, but he's smart, funny, and I'm proud to say that the man digs the same stuff I do. Except for Rush......I hate Rush.
