Conclusion

When this assignment is completed you will have learned about abstinence from four different perspectives; medical, social, ethical, and emotional.

You should also be able to identify multiple ways to say "no" to sexual activity.

In your journal, write how you might deal with the situation where the person you love wants to go a little farther in your relationship than you are ready for.

What would you say if they used the line, "If you really loved me, you would?"

How would you feel about that person?

Thinking about these things now will make acting on your decisions later easier.

As you socialize with your peers you will be able to discuss why abstinence is the best decision for someone your age and its impact on your life.
