| Westwinds is a 1930s detached bungalow with three bedrooms (one ensuite) that can accommodate six to seven people. The property has recently been modernised, and provides clean and comfortable family accomodation. Newly installed gas central heating and an open fire ensure a cosy stay all the year round. The front porch provides a useful area for coats and boots, opening into the hall, which provides access to all rooms. To the right is a double aspect sitting room with two sofas and a television. Immediately left and upstairs is the main double bedroom with a king size bed with ensuite bathroom. This can be used as a bed sit with fabulous views of the valley to the rear of the bungalow. To the left is a double bedroom with a king size bed and a range of drawers and wardrobe. Further on the left is a twin bedroom, with an additional third pull out bed, hand basin and a shaver point. Directly ahead is the family bathroom, with combined bath and shower. To the right is the dining room with table and chairs offering relaxing views over the back garden and surrounding fields. A radio cassette and CD player is available for use in this room. Off the dining room is a small kitchen with a walk in larder with a microwave and freezer,and in the main kitchen itself an electric cooker, fridge and dishwasher. The door from the kitchen leads out into the rear-enclosed garden laid mainly to lawn with picnic bench and BBQ area. A washing machine is provided in the boiler room adjacent to the kitchen. In Trevone, there are two beaches, the main one being a sandy cove that stretches back to the car park and has the attraction of a lifeguard during summer months. The second beach, adjacent to the first, is a rocky beach perfect for rock pool exploration and has a natural swimming pool at low tide. Situated just two miles east is the fishing port of Padstow and across the Camel estuary Rock, and their many attractions, including sailing, boat trips, island bird watching and fishing; as well as enjoying the hosteleries. Two miles west you can play a round of golf at Trevose Golf Club (one 18-hole and two 9-hole courses). The area is dog friendly with direct access to the local and coastal footpaths and beaches. The surfing hotspot of Booby's Bay and Constantine are nearby, and Treyarnon and Porthcothan Bays. The larger beaches of Newquay and Watergate are only 20 minutes away. See map for locations. The local General Store & Post Office provides all your immediate provions with easy access to a local supermarket, located at the top of Padstow. |
