PREFACE
Never before has a person touched my life so completely in the manner which Diana Ross has. For over thirty years she has been an inspiration in my life, the key to a greater awareness as to who I am. In the search to find myself I was fortunate to have come upon this special lady of song. For most of my life I was a lost soul unable to articulate my feelings. Words collided within my mind; I could not communicate my deepest emotions to any one person. As a child the lack of comprehension was a hindrance in my life and would follow me into my teenage years.
In 1972 I began to break free of these invisible barriers. This was the year I saw Diana Ross in "Lady Sings the Blues."
