September 14, 2002:  Congratulations to everyone on a fantastic job at the Johnstown Invitational today!  The trip was both fun and successful, with Varsity boys and girls winning FIRST PLACE in there Division I races! From the boys' team, we had some impressive finishes in the Varsity race: Rick DeCarr (4) Kevin Blaich (5) Matt Zych (7) Mark Leonard (17) and Jeremy Bongio (19).  The remarkable closeness of our top few runners is what gave Westhill the chance for the win.  The team won with a total of 53 points (second place had 88.)  The Junior Varsity team ran wonderfully as well, with Steve Leonard placing 9th in the co-ed, multi-division race.  For the freshman race, Dave Riccardi (4) and Tim Hartnett (7) impressed everyone with their incredible times on the 1.5-mile course.  Also congratulations to the girls' team for a fantastic win: Varsity went 3-7 to win easily with 25 points.  The trip was a huge sucess.  Congratulations to everyone who ran!
