English side Queens Park Rangers made their way to Perth soon after the completion of the 1982/83
season, a year which earned them promotion to the English top flight. Queens Park Rangers ended up
defeating Western Australia by 6-1. The QPR goals were scored by Tony Sealey, Steve Micklewhite, Simon
Stainrod, Warren Neil, Wayne Faraday and an own goal, while Paul Tombides got the lone goal for the
State side.
