COLLEGE |
| This paper will take approximately six weeks to complete and will constitute the major portion of your grade for the class. We will take the research writing process step-by-step and I will guide you through the work. As this paper will take so much time, you should pick a topic that interests you. This is a balanced research paper that will present all sides of an issue, not a persuasion paper, and as such will not include your personal opinion. |

| Once the revision has been completed and corrections made, the paper must be in the proper form to be handed in. |
| All papers, note cards, source cards, outlines, prewriting, drafts, editing sheets, etc. will be placed in a manila envelop and turned in. |
| The final draft must be word-processed, 12 pt. type, black ink, double spaced, no fancy fonts, 1" margins, cover sheet with your name, class period, and title. |
| The copy you wish me to read must be on top with the remaining draft materials behind. |
| Remember to highlight vocabulary words for bonus points. |
