Steph*'s
Harem!
I am...*so* in love with this man, you wouldn't believe it. He stands strong for what he believes to be right, and always encourages others to do the same. In the face of the most dangerous enemies and impending defeat, he never shows any signs of being anything but cool, calm, and confident, even if he *is* catching a bad beating! And he's not afraid to let his softer side show when its appropriate or needed. Its so beautiful the way he says, "I'm proud of you, kid" to Gohan, for instance. *sigh!* All that said, you can't deny he's got an incredible build, too. My favorite parts are his strong neck, muscular arms, and his cute little ears and antennae. I know it seems odd to a lot of others out there, but as for me, Piccolo is the animated love of my life!

Aww... Its me and Pikk-san!!

I know you're thinking I've gone completely mad, totally off the deep end now, but... Look at those arms! Those bulging biceps! That's why! Seriously, I love a man with big, broad arms, even if he is of another species. Besides, Captain Gantu's not all bad, even if he did try to hurt cute little Stitch! I want to give the Captain a hug!

Third Rank:
Brooklyn (Disney's Gargoyles)
Yayy Brooklyn!! Another character with a sexy voice - and also, I have to admit, I have a thing for wings. I wish I had wings... Brooklyn was always my favorite one of the Gargoyles. He's perfect! A good friend, loyal, charming... *huge grin.*

The Leading Couple:
Jack and Sally (The Nightmare Before Christmas)
I will always have a soft spot in my heart for Jack and Sally. The Nightmare Before Christmas is my favorite animated movie. Jack is charming, debonair, sweet, sophisticated and intelligent - all great qualities. And Sally was his perfect kindred spirit - the same insatiable curiosity for the outside world, a deep sense of love and loyalty... they were just made for each other, and I love them both. :) (Psst: If you're a fan, too, check out my TNMBC site: Halloween Haven! /shameless plug ;) )
The Hotties!!

Ace of The Gangreen Gang
(Powerpuff Girls)
I love Ace! I think it something to do with his accent... My favorite episode of the Powerpuff Girls was the one where Buttercup kinda had a little thing going on with Ace (see the left picture above). I think they'd be a great pair. Ace definitely gets style points, too. ;) (Psst! Click that one of him in the rain for a *way* larger image!)

Ryoko
(Tenchi Muyo!)
Ryoko is definitely one of those "I like her, but I'd rather be her" type of things for me. I mean, what's not to love? Some standout qualities are her amazing eyes, her take no crap attitude, and definitely that wild hair! Everyone should have a friend like Ryoko; someone to always keep you guessing! Oh, and again, major style points here!

Larva (Vampire Princess
Miyu)
To tell the truth, I thought "Vampire Princess Miyu" left a lot to be desired... But there was one character in it that I really connected to, and that was Larva. At the time, though, I thought his name was Lava, but upon further research, I found his real name. (I think Lava sounds better, though.) I loved the way the anime presented his character - so deep and dark and mysterious. I love his mask and gloves, they're just beautiful. And then they revealed his true appearance, and WOW! He's gorgeous! That silver blue hair, those intense eyes... I love this guy!

Captain
Amelia (Treasure Planet)
Oh WOW!!! In "real life," cats seem to hate me, and I don't like them very much, either, but when I saw Treasure Planet, I was in love with Amelia from her very first feline screech when she was "aloft!" Her character design is fierce, although I'm not a big fan of those gloves, because they look just a bit awkward, but those beautiful eyes and that expressive face, and her physique and her overall persona make up for that TENFOLD!! Amelia is just amazing!

Jet Black (Cowboy Bebop)
Bishie? Well, maybe not, but I think Jet is awesome! There's just something loveable about this guy - he's so charismatic despite his hard outer shell. And I love that deep, gruff voice, too. And he looks so cuddly wearing that jumpsuit looking thing. It was the episodes Ganymede Elegy and Black Dog Serenade that got me hooked on Jet, so if you want to see why I think so much of him, be sure to check those out!
**Beware - Dragonball fangirlishness ahead!!**
These guys aren't quite at Piccolo status, but have as big a hand in making DBZ one of my favorite anime all the same!

Vegeta (DragonballZ)
One harem member who definately snuck up on me, Vegeta is here for no other reason than because he's sexy! I mean, villainous types are fine by me, but not if they would hurt my Pikk-san, and I definately think Vegeta would, (obviously!) I get a big kick out of the fact he's so short... aww!! Nonetheless, he is a hottie.

Vegetto
Vegeta + Goku = HOT! And I love his red highlights in his hair! Of course, this crush could have something to do with the fact he looks like Gohan...Ok, a LOT like him. So this one is completely irrational. Sue me. ;)

Gohan
(At the age in the pic - *not* as a kid. He was kinda annoying then) What I mostly admire about this guy is his confidence and strength. Those traits add to his overall handsomeness. I loved the way he got along with Piccolo especially during the Buu saga. What more can I say? Gohan's awesome!

Tapion
As the song goes, "beautiful stranger!" Tapion is so mysterious, and his song is lovely. By the end of his movie, I totally adored this guy. I wish there were more of him in the DBZ universe!!

Jet Link/002 (Cyborg 009)
Most people find his nose a little bit distracting/unattractive, but I don't mind it at all. Jet's got a great spirit, despite his aloof personality. I love his big crazy hair, and the fact that he can fly! I'd have to get some rocket boots of my own to keep up with him, but I've no complaint about that. 002 rocks my world!

Albert Heinrich/004 (Cyborg 009)
Check out those piercing baby blues! Albert was actually my first favorite out of all of the Zero-Zero cyborgs in 009. His stoic personality and an unfaltering strength, combined with his unusual good looks, caught my attention immediately! 004 gets his heart broken a few times in his history, and I really wish I could be part of his world and help mend it. :(
The Cuties!

Kid Buu
(Dragonball/Z)
Honestly, I had never even seen this guy in Dragonball when he made it into my harem... but I'd seen a few pictures of him in a DBZ magazine, and I instantly thought, "Aww, how cute!" I think the character design on this guy stands alone, the way his muscles are formed and the way he stands with his chest sorta poked out like he's trying to prove himself... lol! What a cutie! Now that I've seen him, I realize, he really is laughable. ;)

Chihaya (Earthian)
His eyes are so soulful! If you have seen Earthian, you'll probably know what I mean when I say that Chihaya really stirs your spirit. He is so beautiful, the way he loves so deeply. He's the epitome of a hopeless romantic. I love his black, flowing hair, but what I especially love are those wings!

Gally (Battle Angel
Alita)
She's loyal, cute, and tough! Battle Angel is by far my favorite anime! The story of Gally is just captivating. She's the kind of character you can really fall in love with. Cute but cold, innocent but hard... she's truly an amazing girl. This is also another harem member who scores loads of points in the character design area, as well. I've never seen a more smooth blend of bio and mech. Gally is the greatest!

Hikaru
(Angelic Layer)
Isn't she lovely? There's something special about this little doll. First of all, I love the name Hikaru! She made it into my harem before I'd seen very much of Angelic Layer, but now I've seen the entire series, and she is just SO wonderful to me! I know it was Misaki who was making her do her stuff on the Layer, but Hikaru was the action, the spirit and the excitement, and I just love her to pieces! Her character design is unique and almost refreshing in a way. I love her colors, too, especially the pink hair and eyes!
You
make me laugh!
Below are
the characters I love the most when it comes to comic
relief!

Yzma (The Emperor's New Groove)
4 words here: "TO THE SECRET LAB!!" Yes! The "secret lab" scene CRACKS me up, every time!! Yzma is hilarious! I give her the high esteem of being the best villain since Maleficent. Sure she's "scary beyond all reason," but she's a hoot!!

Ed (Ed, Edd, and Eddy)
I love Ed! He's so big and goofy and huggable! I think its because he's so random... I can't help laughing at his "Ed-isms," all those quirky little random quotes here and there. "Buttered Toast!!" "THE GOAT ATE MY SISTER!!" LOL! I wish I had Ed around to watch 'B' movies with late at night. :)

G.I.R. (Invader
Zim)
Gir is another character who I love just because he's crazy! He never fails to make me laugh. I love it when he jumps on people's heads and just kinda ... glomps them. XD Great stuff. Here comes another shameless plug, though: If you want to see my Invader Zim site, AAAACK! MY SPINE!! Click here! (/plug)

Vinny Santorini (Disney's Atlantis)
I thought Vinny was pretty much the most hilarious character in Atlantis. I really thought "Mole" would be my favorite because he's so weird, but Vinny is awesome! His lines always make me laugh out loud, especially, "Look, I made a bridge. Took me what, 10 seconds, eleven, tops..." XD HAHAHA!!! Too funny... I love Vinny!! :)

Zorak (Space Ghost)
This guy cracks me up... XD I don't know, its just the things he says and the personality his animators gave him! Zorak is hilarious!! If you want to really see why I find him so funny, check out the site I got the picture from!
They're
so... Quirky!
The following are characters who are entertaining because they're eccentric...
Cute because they're crazy...

Harley Quinn (Batman)
YAYYY HARLEY!! Its her style, her eyes, her squeaky little laugh, the way she says "Mista J" ... Harley's quirks are so cute! She's been a long standing favorite character of mine. She's sexy, too!

Jonny 2x4 (Ed, Edd, and Eddy)
My second favorite character of the show, Jonny never fails to make me... wonder... ok, ok, he makes me laugh, too. He's the quirky to end all quirkies... Of course, he'd have to bring Plank with him to join the harem. Jonny's hilarious! I find myself waiting a few seconds after he says just about anything, and then I kinda sit back and say, "whaaaaaaaaaaaaaat??" Jonny's cool!

Clopin (Disney's The Hunchback of Notre Dame)
"Here is a riddle to guess if you can..." What exactly is it about this gypsy man? Heh... that rhymed. Honestly, though, I'm not sure what it is about Clopin that I like so much. I think it started, though, when I "met" him "in person" at Disney's MGM studios a few years ago. What a cutie!! And the reason he makes it into the "quirky" section here is, you never really get what role he's supposed to fall into. One minute he's friendly and bouncy and crazy, and the next he's all, "You're going to HANG!" He's silly and crazy and I love him. :)

Ickis
(AAAH! Real Monsters!)
I love his squeaky little voice! Ickis pretty much defines the word quirky. Well, Edward is probably quirkier, but just look at Ickis's picture and say the word "quirky." It fits, no? He's the best little monster ever. Awww...

Great Britain/007 (Cyborg 009)
As you saw above, a few of the other Zero-Zero cyborgs made it into my "hotties" section, but what G.B. here lacks in good looks, he more than makes up for in personality, wit, and charm! He really makes me laugh during the course of this rather serious series, and I love him all the more for being that same sort of lighthearted beacon to his Zero-Zero cyborg comrades. Besides, who couldn't love a guy who can morph into ANYTHING he wants to? That is COOL!
Lets
be Friends!
Some
characters I'd like to meet and hang out with!

The Iron Giant
Awwwww! He's so big and friendly and sweet!! And he's voiced by Vin Diesel... *cough* not that that has anything to do with anything... */thinks: Vin... yummy...* ANYWAY!! I loved the Giant from the first time I saw the movie. I'd love to have him around as a friend. I'm pretty sure no one would bother me or mess with me, don't you think? My favorite line of his in the movie was where he said, "No Atomo... I'm Superman!!" Aw, and the end of it, too... how sweet! But I won't get into that... I might ruin it for someone... Yay Giant!!

Long
John Silver (Treasure Planet)
I would get onboard a ship with this guy in a heartbeat if it meant an adventure anywhere near as amazing as the one he (pretty much) lead in Treasure Planet! And that cyborg arm could really come in handy with this guy around. Plus, I get the feeling that once he was on my side, or on my list of friends, he'd be there forever and be one to "have my back" no matter the situation! Despite his scary beginnings, he turned out to have many great, endearing qualities. But just to clear the record - he's not goin' soft!! ;) (Psst! Click right here to see a shot of my favorite moment between LJS and Jim!)
You're
just like me!
I have a lot in common with the characters below!

Buttercup (The Powerpuff Girls)
She's tough, tiny, and tops in my book! Her attitude and mine match to a tee. The other girls are so... girly. Buttercup and me? We're no frills and flowers females! We're rough and tumble tomboys with attitude to spare! But she could kick my butt any day...

Rebecca (A.k.a. Tank Girl)
I'm not sure if this counts or not... She did make a lot of animated appearances in her live-action movie. Well, anyway, she ROCKS, HARD! Her sense of style is never easy to predict or pinpoint, because she's so out there, she just doesnt care! She's 100% feminine heroine, loyal to her friends, and you have to admire the fact that she fell in love with a guy like Booga. I mean, he's half kangaroo, for cryin' out loud! Uh... that whole kangaroo-love thing? She and I definitely don't have that in common!! ;)
Gotta
Hug 'em All!
A special section for those more cuddly characters!

Ein (Cowboy Bebop)
Yes, Ein as in, the dog. Ein got me hooked on Corgis (that's his breed). Isn't he adorable?? I just wanna pet 'im and snuggle 'im and give him cookies!

Diego (Ice Age)
One sexy cat, no doubt about it, but I'd really like to just curl up next to that soft fur and take a catnap with Diego! I really don't know where this love came from, since I don't like his VA, Denis Leary, at all, but Diego is definately harem-worthy material. Aww, I just love his expressions too!
I
remember you!
Beloved or favorite characters of yesteryear!

Allo
(Dinosaucers)
(The one on the far left)
Who could forget Allo from Dinosaucers? Ok, ok, you probably don't even remember the Dinosaucers. That's ok, it was way back in 1987 and it only ran for about 65 episodes. Anyway, I developed an affinity for the character Allo early on. His voice, as I recall, was very smooth and confidant, and his leadership skills made him even more attractive, even for a space-dinosaur! If you remember the Dinosaucers even vaguely, you should go here to check them out again. You should go there anyway, really. ;)

Donatello and Raphael (Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles)
And here we have my first 2 animated crushes, ever! Raphael was first, and then I started liking Donatello a little bit later. I'm not ashamed to say that I was a huge fan of the show; I would watch it faithfully and sometimes even draw the Turtles. They were great in their time! And... *sigh* ... kinda cute, too. ;)

Clarice
(Chip and Dale's girlfriend)
I remember Clarice from way back in the earlier days of Disney cartoons. I think she only appeared in the one short with Chip and Dale, but it was a very memorable appearance, indeed! Such a pretty little chipmunk, with a lovely voice and great style to match! She could put a twinkle in any eye...
Uhh...
*shrug*
Characters
I love because... um... well, I don't know...

Mr.
Skroop (Treasure Planet)
Maybe its because he's voiced by my favorite bad guy, Michael Wincott. Maybe its because I think bugs are pretty cool. Maybe its because he looks sorta like a cross between Brooklyn and Zorak. Whatever it is, Skroop is definitely among my favorites now that I've seen Disney's Treasure Planet! Actually, I liked him before I saw the movie. I was working at a theater when it came out, and snuck in to take a peek, right when Arrow asked, if he was making himself clear, and Skroop hisses, "Transparently." ONE word and I was already hooked! This guy just makes being bad look SO good! Fierce, fearless, relentless... 3 cheers for evil!
List of Favorites in General:
* Peg the Shih-Tzu (Lady and the Tramp): Another for the "Remembered" list. Peg is a symbol of good memories in my family for many reasons!
* Eevee (Pokemon): Another character with special meaning to me. She reminds me of good times with old friends!
* Rhinokey (Wuzzles): My favorite Wuzzle as a kid. A symbol of my childhood and growing up with my crazy sister!
* Maleficent (Sleeping Beauty): Nobody does evil quite like her! She can turn into a DRAGON, too! Can we say, jealousy??
* Zim (Invader Zim): Gotta love the main guy from my #1 favorite 'toon!
* Chernabog (Fantasia): He makes flames look delicious!
* Miss Spider (James and the Giant Peach): Caught me in her web of beauty from the moment I saw her!
* Stith (Titan A.E.): Much love for her V.A., Janeane Garofalo! Stith just rocks my world. Have you ever seen a pair of legs *quite* like hers??
* EVERYBODY from The Nightmare Before Christmas!! What can I say, its my favorite movie!!
* Elliot (Pete's Dragon): I wish I had an Elliot of my own. He's the best dragon pal ever!
* Heimlich (A Bug's Life): 6 words here: "I am a cute little bumblebee!!" Heimlich just cracks me up!!
*Audrey Ramirez (Atlantis): She's a cutie!! I love her character design best of all, especially those baggy pants and pouty lips!
* Kida (Atlantis): One word: "Captivating!"
* The Gorillaz: One of my favorite bands - the fact that they're animated just brings their lovable points up a little... say, through the roof! :)
* Mickey and Minnie Mouse! Who doesn't love the magical couple without whom Disney would be nothing at all?
