Hello and welcome to my 'Extra pages' of my family history. This site is being constructed to put on any additional information that I cannot fit into my Tribal Pages website.
My Tribal Pages site contains my full family tree with over 7000 names in it on both mine and my wifes sides of the family. You can go to the Tribal Pages site at any time by clicking on the Family Tree link on the left. My family tree is also on the genesreunited site and Ancestry website also.
It all started in 2005 when my father Peter William Elkes showed me a Elkes family tree that Raymond Henry Elkes (1913-2004) of Newport Shropshire had created and from that moment on I was hooked.
Theres not enough time or space to thank all the individuals who have helped and guided me over the last few years but they know who they are and I cannot thank you enough.
Most of my tree structure is complete now but I am trying to fill out the facts for the individuals and obtain pictures and stories of them to create a family history database that can be carried through the generations. If you think I can be any help to you with your family tree please do not hesitate to contact me and I will do my best to help you.
I am very strict in not giving out living relatives details and will only give the password to my site to close family members. Do not be offended by this but I have gave my promise to the people who have kindly donated their information that I would protect it.
If you can supply me with any additional bits of information or photos of any of the familes in my tree I would be very grateful.
