Volusia County Mothers of
Twins and Triplets (VCMOTT) club is an educational and social organization for
the benefit of mothers of multiples. This is achieved by exchanging ideas on the
care of twins and multiples and by providing understanding and friendship with
other women who are aware of the unique experiences of raising multiples.
Our purpose is to join together as
a support group for mothers of multiples; to participate in research projects
conducted by researchers and doctors; to educate parents, teachers, and others
with an interest in multiples as to the aspects of child development that
relates to multiples; and to make available to members educational materials,
research and publications related to multiple birth children. We publish an
informative monthly newsletter, and have lots of great events each month
including play dates, family parties, Mom's (parents) lunches/dinners, and
fundraising activities. Come check us out!
We, mothers of multiples, are very interested in finding other mothers of
multiples to share our experiences, to give and get advice, and of course to
have fun.
We
are located in the Daytona Beach area of Volusia County, Florida and serve the
surrounding communities including Flagler county, Ormond Beach, Holly Hill,
Daytona Beach, South Daytona, Port Orange,
Edgewater, Ponce Inlet, Deleon
Springs, and New Smyrna Beach.
