A petition has been formed and a group of concerned citizens are going door-to-door to get it signed. In talking with McKean residents the same concerns have been brought up again and again. Many residents are in dire staights because of the exorbitant sewer fees we are flushing down the toilet every month. We are hoping this casino thing can bail us out. But do we realy want that kind of business here in our little town? There has to be another way. We shouldn't have to lower our standard of living so we can take a crap!
Most McKean residents live here because we love the peaceful quietness of country living and we don't want that jeopardized. Many of us are concerned about the crime element that casinos always bring and our lack of police security. Whatever the reason, we must let our voices be heard!
