Nobel
Price Recipient, Otto Warburger THE INNATE WISDOM OF THE BODY TO ADAPT Nobel Prize winner Alexis Carrel devoted an entire chapter of
a book to the adaptive functions of the body, stating that it seems to mold
itself on events and , "instead of wearing out, it changes." He
continues: " Our organs always improvise means of meeting every new
situation and these means are such that they tend to give us a maximum
duration. The physiological process always inclines in the direction leading
to the longest survival of the individual"( footnote Man the Unknown) Our bodies are indeed wonderfully made, so much so that they
are pre-programmed with the uncanny ability to adapt to all varieties of
unnatural internal and external conditions. When pollutants, excess protein
and other waste metabolites in the bloodstream overburden and exceed the
filtration capacities of the liver, kidney, lymph nodes and lungs, the body
kicks into an emergency mode. In an effort to preserve the all-important
homeostasis of the blood stream, the body, in its wisdom, removes these
substances from the general circulation and stores it in pre-selected areas.
If the body did not store some of this debris, it would exceed the filtrative
ability of the essential organs, which, in the economy of the body, cannot be
weakened or damaged. . The organism, in storing the toxins, hopes that a time will
come when the quality and quantity of poisons entering the bloodstream will
be lowered so that the stored matter can be dissolved back into the
bloodstream and eliminated in a gradual manner through the filtrative and
eliminative organs. If this elimination
does not happen, eventually the
build-up of stored matter begins to interfere with the normal
functioning of the body on both a biochemical and structural level. The
particular disease that develops is an outgrowth of where the garbage is stored, the amount of garbage, the type of
garbage, and how fast it is being stored.
Some of the deposits are given various names such as cysts, moles, and
tumors, both cancerous and benign. Most of the hundreds of diseases listed
for western civilization's vast Materia Medica can be traced to a basic
disruption of natural processes and
not to some mysterious bacteria or illusive carcinogenic substance - although
these can be contributors. In the case of the
development of cancer, the areas selected by the organism for storing excess
nutrients and waste are places that may have been weakened in the past
through bruising, high radiation and/or some area of the body where the level
of toxicity is already high - these
areas may be weak genetically or have a high storage capacity. The systems that have high
storage capacity are the following:
(1.) fatty cells, (2.) the inner lining of the blood vessels - which
represent over 60 thousand miles of vessels, (3.) the GI tract, over 30 feet
long, (4.) lymph system, as big as the blood vessel system, (5.) the lungs;
if stretched, the lungs could be as big as a tennis court, (6.) breast ducts
(7.) cells - over 20 trillion of them; the cells alone have a huge capacity
for storing toxins. By the time the
cells have gotten old and lost
reproductive capacity, they can be made up of over 60% fat, incompletely
metabolized protein, mucus, inorganic minerals and chemicals from the
environment. The scientific literature
shows that there is a 100% relationship between cancer and the intake of
excess, heat-treated animal protein. The Surgeon General’s Report has stated
that over 70% of the causes of death can be prevented, and the number one
contributor to death is the unbalanced dietary habits. Besides dietary considerations, there are stress factors (emotional, environmental,
strong chemicals...) that cause cells to die prematurely - a process known as
apoptosis. These cells end up treated as foreign proteins to be processed in the same fashion as excess
heat treated dietary protein. One of the stresses that
hardly anyone ever bothers to talk about is the “MaD Voodoo” effect. In
primitive cultures, there have been
some shamans or witch doctors who abusing power might curse their patients, causing them to be driven by fear and belief. The patient
ends up withdrawing from society and family or friends, loses
all interest in food, weakens and dies. This “voodoo death” is well
documented in anthropological studies.. In the USA, Dr. Andrew
Weil, M.D. wonders how many patients are condemned by a similar ‘MaD
Voodoo’ phenomena, whereby, the prophesy of the patients’
physician has a deadly effect
when they hear “there’s nothing more
that we can do” or “you’ll be dead in six months”. As a contrast, among the
holistic practitioners, the patient is taught the value of positive psychology and the value of
uplifting affirmations and
visualization Unless the patient
switches doctors and/or seeks guidance from within, the MaD Voodoo curse
often ends in premature, emotional stress-induced death. Dr. Weil has made attempts to get the medical
schools to be made aware of the power of words. Some of the medical schools are actually offering courses in
politeness. (Spontaneous Healing, A.
Weil MD) Other cell-killer stresses are created by: the
destructive effect of acid-oriented, enzymeless diets (see details under acidity); chemicals in the diet,
carcinogens in the diet; environmental poisons in the air, water, food,
clothing, and home; mental-emotional stress; cigarettes; processed
foods; radiation; lack of rest; as well as general life in the 21st Century. Basic to the breakdown of
protein metabolism is the eventual failure of the pancreas to perform it’s
digestive functions adequately, when the meal is made up of cooked food.
Every cooked meal requires the sacrifice of a large volume of the body’s
metabolic enzymes. Environmental
pollutants, emotional stress, excess intake of protein and processed foods
further overburden the pancreas, immune system, and liver with waste
metabolizing duties. The
cooked food digestive stress places an excessive demand on pancreatic enzyme reserves and eventually overburdens
the backup supportive digestive systems, which are: (1) the liver, which cleans up incompletely metabolized proteins that are found in the blood; (2) the immune system,
with the action of white blood cells, squirting enzymes on incompletely
metabolized protein. This phenomenon
is called post-meal-leukocitosis.
After eating a cooked meal, when no enzyme supplements
have been used, and/or there were an inadequate amount of enzymes in the
meal, the white blood count goes up by as much as 400%. The white blood
cells use the meta- bolic enzymes
that they have collected from all over one’s body, and
makes them available to support the
diges- tive functions. The white blood cells actually have a much higher
concentration of enzymes than the pancreas cells. The continued excess enzyme demand eventually leads to
the weakening of the immune system, which shows up as colds, flu, as well as
allergies, skin conditions, and over all fatigue. All the borrowing of
enzymes from the rest of the body’s metabolic system and organs, eventually
leads to over all faltering of the back-up digestive functions. Of course, eventually the
body's living laboratory, the liver, begins to break down. According to Dr. Blond, cancer is a
general response of the whole organism, and he concludes that 98% of those who suffer from cancer of the vital organs succumb, not to
the cancer, but to liver malfunction or failure (50 Cases of Cancer,
Dr.Gerson M.D.). Oxygen plays a key role in
the understanding of cancer. Oxygen is key to life; we can live at most a
minute without adequate oxygen. We
can live for months without food, and for weeks without liquids.
However, insufficient oxygen causes
death immediately. As a matter of fact, as
you read this article, it will become clear that, besides all kinds of
mutagenic and carcinogenic chemicals, as well as radiation, there is a
cancer-causing component that very few people acknowledge - namely, oxygen
deprivation. If the oxygen level supply to a cell drops below 35%, which is the minimum amount that is
essential to the cell, such a cell, deprived of oxygen, will mutate to a
cancer cell within a mere two days (Dr. Otto Warburger M.D.) . Cancer cells
have a non-oxygen dependent metabolism. The reader is familiar
with the way the body manages excess fat - i.e. the fat ends up being stored
temporarily into fatty cells, which eventually can be more difficult to
remove when they become cellulite. This is correctable by several means,
including a low protein and low fat diet, with the emphasis on raw
foods; an intense exercise program;
lipase and all purpose enzymes between meals; a series of juice fasts; and other dietary upgrades. Under Live Cell
microscope, one can see that heat-treated fat causes a significant number of red blood
cells, for a period of up to 12 hours, to clump together ( due to the
stickiness of the heat-treated fat).
This reduces their ability to get into the fine capillaries, hence
reducing oxygen circulation, especially in the extremities. To prevent this, the body creates special
fat storage cells, especially in regions where there is low muscle
activity. People get fat because this
is one method that the body employs to prevent death from oxygen starvation. Fat cells are a part of the body’s
strategy of adapting to a high fat intake. The heat treated fat causes red blood cells to clump together,
which reduce their ability to get
into the fine capillaries, hence reducing
oxygen circulation, especially in the extremities. To prevent this,
the body creates special fat-storage-cells,
which have an extraordinary storage capacity for fat, and we get a
build-up of localized levels of fat, in regions where there is low muscle
activity. People get fat because this is one method the body employs to
prevent death from oxygen starvation. Fat cells are a part of the body’s
strategy of adapting to the high fat intake. Enzymatic raw fat, or one supplemented with adequate amounts of
enzymes, ends up, if not used, being stored in the skin area extremities,
without compromising the cardiovascular system. Just as fat cells function as storage units for excess, heat -treated fats, which radically
interfere with the transport of oxygen, likewise cancer cells act as
storage containers for excess incompletely metabolized circulatory protein,
which interfere radically with the overall oxygen carrying capacity of blood.
If we did not get an adequate amount of oxygen, nothing would work properly
in our body. Basically, cancer serves
an important function in the management of excessive blood protein. In
medical books, they talk about increased viscosity and the blood sludge
factor - basically an overload of protein structured toxins and metabolites.
Gainer proved that excess protein can reduce the blood oxygen by as much as
60%. As little as 35% oxygen
reduction in the vicinity of ANY cell capable of reproduction causes this
normal cell to go through a mutation process, whereby within 48 hours it
functions and looks like a cancer cell.
Cancer cells can store up to
20 times the normal level of protein. The removal of excess protein allows
the body to return to the normal oxygen levels in the blood stream.
As a matter of fact, researchers Drs. LaPage, Middler and others refer to
cancer cells as "protein dumps" and "nitrogen traps".
Hence, cancer cells enable oxygen starved
tissues (as well as the whole body)
to live much longer, by having the oxygen delivery system
re-established. I need to mention that,
parallel to the cancer mechanism for the management of excess protein, there is a similar mechanism for
protein storage in blood vessel basement
membranes. A German family of physicians, Drs.L. Wendt,
Th. Wendt and A, Wendt (Protein transport and protein storage in
etiology and pathogenesis of arteriosclerosis; Z. Ernahrungswiss, 20, 1-40, 1981, ISSN 0044-264x) studied this
process for 25 years. They established that one of the major cardiovascular
obstructions is dietary excess protein. They were able to treat successfully
all forms of arteriosclerosis, even advanced and chronic, with a low protein
diet. There is also extensive
storage of excess muco-protein in lymph, as well as in the lungs and brain
cavity. Our excess dietary habits are
important factors in aging and loss of cell reproductive capacity. SUMMARY: HOW CANCER DEVELOPS (1.) Dr. John Gainer
showed that “slight protein increases reduces oxygen transport by as much as 60%, even though
the amount of protein in the fluid
would be considered within the normal range for human blood." (Science
News, 8/21/71; p. 123) (2.) Our TRUE protein
needs are greatly indicated by the first food we are given , mothers breast milk, which has
enzymatic raw protein levels between 1 and
2% during the different stages
of nursing. This low level supplies the
needs of the body during the most rapid period of growth and development. We do not need
excessive protein levels. A gorilla, whose physiology and anatomy resembles
that of humans, is able to maintain itself, and develop great strength, on an
adult diet of succulent greens and fruit (less than 2% enzymatic protein), with the intake of only an
occasional insect and/or worm. (3.) Eskimos had an all
raw food diet of enzymatic flesh
foods, with consumption of as much as 10 pounds of animal protein and blubber
per day. However, they had no cancer or degenerative diseases. Furthermore,
their longevity was well over 90 years. However, as soon as they started
cooking, within one generation, their longevity dropped to the 40’s and
degenerative diseases(cancer, arthritis, heart diseases..) appeared. As long as there are high enough
enzyme levels in the body, and/or in the food, the organism can process a
high protein diet. Even though their
longevity was outstanding, they could have lived much longer if they had had
a dietary source of alkalinity, especially calcium, to neutralize the acidic
waste products of protein metabolism. (Food Enzymes for Health
and Longevity, Dr. Howell MD) (4.) Our protein needs are
optimally provided by low protein, enzymatic vegetarian sources, such as
seeds and nuts (soaked for at least
10 hours). Cooked foods when used, are best from the low protein complex carbohydrates, such as sprouted
legumes, dry or soaked grains, soaked
legumes and root vegetables, eaten with enzyme supplementation.[IaL1] (5.) Dr. Otto Warburger, a
double Nobel prize winner, director of the renowned Max Planck Institute of
Cell Physiology in Berlin, gave an address in 1966 entitled: "Concerning
the Ultimate Cause and Contributing Cause of Cancer". He reduced the problem
of cancer to a single primary cause - due to some harmful chemical
stimulation, radiation, weakness or an error in metabolism, a particular
tissue and associated cells become starved for oxygen. He found that as
little as a 35% reduction in the level of oxygen available to cells causes
some of them to die, others to become
sick and die, and some to survive and look and function like cancer cells. The current research shows
that every cell that is capable of reproduction is also capable of mutating
into a cancer cell. Two different research teams (Kenneth Kinzler of John
Hopkins Oncology Center and Paul Polakis, research director of Onyx
Pharmaceuticals in Richmond, CA), reporting in three papers in the journal
Science (3/21/97), found that an obscure protein called beta-catenin is the
prime reason that normal cells transform themselves into seeds of malignancy. They reported that
transformation occurs because some genes in the cells that would ordinarily
be permanently ‘switched off’ are somehow ‘switched on.’ Presently it is
believed this process is involved in 30 percent of the cases of melanoma. In
time, the traditional research will find it is 100% of the cells, as was
demonstrated by Dr. Otto Warburger. (6.)
We have seen, according to John
Gainer, that high protein diets can reduce the oxygen level by as much as 60%, and that oxygen reduction by as
little as 35% (Dr. Warburger) can
cause some tissue cells to mutate into
cancer cells within 48 hours. (7.) Dr. Albert Lorinz (Nebraska State Medical
Journal, Dec 1965), professor of obstetrics and gynecology at the U-Chicago,
found that cancer cells have up to 11 times the protein storage as do normal
cells. The cancer cells act like a vacuum cleaner, sucking up the excess
circulatory protein, removing the surplus protein from the bloodstream and
thus allowing oxygen transport to
maintain body normalcy. (8.) You may have cancer
cells in your body for 20 years and more; some will grow and some disappear,
and new ones will appear. In this respect, they are no different than fat
cells. The fat cells and cancer cells
only become a problem when their number is so large that it interferes with
the normal physiology and metabolism, as well as structural functioning of
the body. Under proper conditions,
fat or cancer cells can shrink and
disappear when we upgrade our diet
and lifestyles. With cancer, this
occurs most readily by reduction of stress and the levels of protein consumed, and when other natural lifestyle
and detoxification measures are taken) Children get cancer when
they are born to mothers who might be 28 years old chronologically, but
biologically might be 58 or much
older. When the mother’s bloodstream is toxic, she will give birth to a child
who is enzyme-depleted, with weak organs, and an acidic pH. The children of
today, quite often show their genetic weakness - no earlobes or no moons on
finger nails, a narrow nose (as
compared to the more primitive nose with wide nostrils of many great
athletes). These offspring, instead of starting life on mother’s breast milk,
are placed on enzymeless-high-protein formulas. This is followed by acid
forming cooked and junk fast foods. These are the stresses that accelerate
the formation of cancer, as well as skin conditions and other forms of
degenerative diseases. The genetic makeup of the child will determine which disease the child will suffer. According to global medical report forecasts, by the middle of
the 21st century, everybody will be dying from cancer. Due to the “civilized”
diet of today, with continued increase of-heat treated animal protein and the
prevalence of acid-oriented foods within a toxic environment, it is not
surprising that we have such a negative forecast. On a more positive note,
there have been continuing successful examples with the treatment of cancer
based on reducing the levels of undigested protein. Dr. Robert Good
(U-Minn.), has shown that it is impossible to graft cancer on people and
animals as long as they were maintained on low protein diet. Similarly, Dr.
Kalikowsky showed that blood cancer was reversed in infantile leukemia in a
short period by using alkaline solutions and a low protein diet. Probably one
of the most conclusive studies has been done by Dr. Harold Manner, with the
use of enzymes, laetrile and Beta Carotene. He found that laetrile, and Beta
Carotene did not work alone, whereas enzymes did. However, best results were
obtained with all included factors. Dr. Max Gerson M.D., on an all raw, high enzyme diet featuring
quantities of raw juices, had consistent results. The work of a friend, Dr.
Chiu Nan Lay, in animal research with wheatgrass (as well as other raw
greens), showed the juice extracts had immunization effects against
carcogens. Dr. Arthur Robinson ( Linus Pauling Inst.), with all raw foods and grass, showed a reduced cancer incidence
by a factor of over 70 times.
Hippocrates Health Institute, with raw foods, digestive aspergillus
vegetarian enzymes and Super Blue Green Algae™, had the most consistent and
successful results. Presently we see the
insanity of women who are having their breasts removed to prevent getting
breast cancer. They believe they have a genetic predisposition. The doctors
fail to tell them that it is a lifestyle disease. The genetic weaknesses are
overcome with radical lifestyle upgrades. What insanity within the
medical community; they perform the treatment, but they do not tell you about the prevention of
future damage (e.g. treatments, lifestyle and/or dietary changes, etc.). So,
one cure is followed by another and another, until you are either broke or
they have killed you. Fortunately, more and more
of the physicians are becoming dissatisfied with orthodox systems. There are
alternatives for such as these, examples being the Alternative Medical
Association, Physician’s Committee
for Responsible Medicine (with over 3000 medical doctors who have taken the
posture that not only are vegetarian diets
adequate, but also that anything contrary, is detrimental to health
and healing), and many other such
groups. Dr. Dean Ornish, Dr. Deepak Copra, and Dr. Andrew Weil are a few
examples of physicians who created best selling books on these subjects, and
are advancing the alternative therapies.
A 2 inch thick textbook, entitled “Alternative Medicine Definitive
Guide to Cancer”, by John Diamond, M.D., has been released. As you can see, fewer and
fewer people are following the dogma of the doctors. The New England Journal
of Medicine (1992), under Dr. Edward Camplon, reported that a third of all
Americans in 1990 sought relief outside of mainstream medicine, spending $14
billion on such therapies as reflexology, herbs, chiropractic and
others. While that money is less than
2% of all expenses on disease treatment, the research estimates that
Americans actually paid more than 100 million more visits to the unorthodox
practitioner than to the allopathic camp.
I am sure that at this time, 8 years later, the switch is even more
extensive. “Word-of-Mouth” success is
the best PR. About 18 years ago, I had
a tumor on the palm of my hand and a cyst on my wrist, which I reversed
through the impact of enzymes (digestive aspergilus-based enzymes), laetrile
from soaked seeds, greens and
sprouts; as well as Beta carotene rich foods (such as Super Blue Green
Algae™, fresh green vegetables,
soaked seeds and nuts, and sprouts),
and chlorophyll rich greens (wheatgrass and SBG Algae™). I went back to canned
vegetarian soy/wheat protein analogs; coffee and doughnuts; lack of proper
rest; excessive eating of cooked foods and sweets, as well as cooked beans;
and I witnessed the return of the growths. When I used 4 to 10 times the
recommended dosage of digestive aspergillus fungus enzymes with my upgraded
natural cooked and raw foods, the growths did not return. Presently, eating a mostly live food diet
and a line of Cell Tech enzymatic Super Foods, I do not see any signs of new
malignant growths. One of the best ways to

many excellent lectures on health, relationships and positive living. Check
out the network magazines found in book stores and health food stores. Diets and cures do not work. They are

pattern is not broken, since no alternatives and no upgrades to traditional
eating/lifestyles, have been initiated. You need the wholistic approach such
as this one that I have designed. As long as your current diet is unnatural and acidic (partially or totally synthetic,

countless times , again and again, in my 30 months as secretary of H.E.W.: "You,
the individual , can do more for your own health and well being than any
doctor, any hospital, any drug, and exotic medical device". Indeed, a wealth of scientific research reveals
that the key to whether a person will be healthy or sick, live a long
life or die prematurely, can be found in several simple personal habits:
one's habit with regard to smoking; one’s habits of diet, sleep and exercise,
as well as attitude. This report is based on the principals of the
Surgeon General’s Report - especially as related to diet, exercise, rest,
drugs & ecological environment and attitude. It is wonderful to know that the field of
traditional medicine acknowledges it’s shortcomings. Even more striking is
the fact that the doctors are actually endangering our health by the
prescribed established standard treatments: “Those who fail to get treatment for cancer outlive
those who get the cut, burn and/or chemical route. ”(This is according
to Dr. Hardin B. Jones, a cancer researcheer). Dr. Jones claims that those
who get treatment live hardly three years. Those who refuse treatment live an
average of 12.5 years. Dr. Jones, a physiologist with the University of
California Department of Medical Physics, has been studying cancer for more
than 25 years. “Cancer victims are dying at a rate of 1,000 a day."
(Acres USA Oct 3, 1976) In a recent issue of a
national paper, a study was quoted which implied "Heart-Disease
Prevention has its own risks: "Dr. Timo Strandberg
of Helsinki University, Finland ... studied 1,222 executives ; after 15 years
he found those who used drugs to lower cholesterol or blood pressure died
more often from heart disease, violence, accidents and suicide than men
who did nothing to cut risk." (9/4/91, USA Today) Another prominent
newspaper reported, "Vitamins Win Support as Potent Agents of
Health", and "Focus on
deficiency diseases widens to cholesterol, cancer and chronic disorders ...Long consigned to the fringes of
medicine ...now winning broad attention and respect among main stream medical
researchers." (New York Times
3/10/92). The prestigious
'Cornell-China-Oxford Project on Nutrition, Health and Environment', was
conducted by Dr. Chen Junshi, Deputy
Director Institute of Nutrition and Food Hygiene at the Chinese Academy of
Preventative Medicine, and Dr T.C. Campbell of Cornell University. Their preliminary findings of the study -
involving 6,500 people in China since 1983 - showed a diet of mostly plant foods
is "associated with reduced risk
of the kinds of diseases that tend to kill"... “Humans evolved as a ‘vegetarian species’ and have not adjusted
to the risk of eating animal products.” (5/9/90; US Today). Of course, many best sellers, including John Robbin’s
“Diet for New America” have been saying that all along. Over 20 years ago,
the book "Survival Into the 21st Century" by V. Kulvinskas, as well
as the book "Food Reforms" by Robin Hurr, both well documented
works, show clearly that vegetarianism helps prevent degenerative diseases,
and, that raw food vegetarian diets can be a basis for a therapy
program. The alternative allopathic MD's therapies do not rate very highly,
even by their own evaluation; a few
excellent books on this subject are
"Challenging the Second Opinion" by Dr. McDougal MD,
"Confessions of a Medical Heretic" by Dr. Mendelson MD; and "Anatomy of an Illness" by
Dr. Cousins MD. I feel there is an
important place for physicians in education - teaching their clients about

health, and that people should also be tough about demanding health

the case of degenerative diseases, there is an outrageously long history of

Treatments and cures can provide short term success, but often with a
cost of loss of vitality and harm to some part of the body. I believe that all health problems are
caused by some sort of stress - emotional, mental, environmental, physical,
unnatural nutrition, and, of course, malnutrition due to heavy reliance on
cooked and processed foods. In my practice, I evaluate the conditions of my client -
based on a questionnaire of past habits and conditions, their numerology,
palmistry, iridology, physiognomy, acupressure, and aura - and design an
approach which will help to balance the energy field of the client, and which
will assist and promote internal self healing. The procedures center on

is a very powerful concept. When you
fully understand it, then you see that the problems of the world, as well as
of the individual, are that they are not green enough. At one time they said, "Well, he's a
greenhorn," and that was negative.
My attitude is not only "green is clean," but "green is
power." Why are we having so
much violence? The green is
disappearing from the land. People
are living in cities where green is not very visible. Green tranquilizes, calms. Walk in green pastures and you become
reborn, rejuvenated, renewed. The
life forms that evolved on our planet started with the blue-green algae. Eventually some of the water plants, due
to the presence of rain and mist on rock and land masses, ended up on the
land. They developed into many
different forms of algae that could live on land with the infrequent presence
of showers and mist, and some of them actually evolved into grasses. Fundamentally they are the basis of the
food chain. No matter what one will
say, there are still only two isolated foods that can supply all the nutritional
needs to produce healthy, long-lived, disease-free organisms, capable of
reproduction from one generation to the next: algae and its daughters, the grasses. Ezekiel
said, "Greens shall be for medicine for man", because in the greens there are such
benefits, such strong energies. Green
is so fundamental. In the Bible King
Nebuchadnezzar, who was very sick, took to the grasses and became well. He went on to rule his kingdom for a long
time. In the Essene Gospel, Volume
IV, the Essenes, who were the early Christians and who left their mark in the
Dead Sea Scrolls, used the grasses in raw form as a sacrament of immortality. Chlorophyll
has a structure almost identical to hemoglobin and it is the major factor
responsible for a strong oxygen-carrying system. The chlorophyll structure is primarily an enzyme crystal, and
it is heat-sensitive, or process-sensitive.
Once it has gone through processing, it’s virtue is minuscule in
comparison to what is found in a crude chlorophyll form. All
the research during the early 1930's and on into the mid-40's that centered
around chlorophyll was focusing on the crude chlorophyll. Crude chlorophyll, such as that found in
such high levels in Super Blue Green Algae‰, has been found to be
consistently effective therapeutically.
In the experimental research that was done with treatment of anemic
conditions, synthetic and purified varieties of chlorophyll were also tested
and it was found that high dosages led to toxic reactions (although in
minuscule amounts the synthetic and purified chlorophyll seemed to have a
beneficial effect). However, large
doses of the crude chlorophyll showed no toxic effect. Crude chlorophyll was the answer. There
is presently a lack of sufficient oxygen, both in our own blood system and on
the planet. In fact, we are experiencing a
continuous, worldwide diminishment of available oxygen--especially in
the cities. If our Health Department
had not reduced the standards for anemia--and it has done this twice
already--we would have a nation of anemics.
That is the only way we have a “healthy” nation. It's the only way we are able to get
enough people into the armed services -- by continually reducing the
standards.
Green is the color that can protect you in this toxic
environment. It assures that you will
have the optimal level of oxidation. There are certain standards that are
used to qualify the hemoglobin and red blood cell levels. An associate of mine who was a heavy
consumer of green, as much as any gorilla would consume, had his blood
analyzed. His hemoglobin and red blood cell levels were about 30 percent
higher than what is considered maximum by the established medical
community. He was a runner,
chiropractic student, father of four children, and held two jobs. Many
other standards besides those that have been set for blood levels reflect a
toxic, sick nation; for example,
cholesterol levels. I went for a
blood test and the clinic found my cholesterol level to be 105, so they said,
"You're malnourished, starving."
Yet, I point out that in the medical journals in studies of longevity
of the elderly in 50 primitive cultures, people 110 and 120 years of age as
well as children had that cholesterol level--between 95 and 105. As a matter of fact, if what is the
recommended cholesterol level in this country is maintained, the likelihood
of having a heart attack is one out of two--50 percent! A
Chinese Health study by Cornell University, recently publicized nationally
through mass media shows, that the cholesterol level range for the Chinese
was on a range between 73 and 140. The study showed that this was due to the
primarily plant-based, low animal protein diet of the Chinese people. They
also showed that the trend in the
United States, of diverting human dietary consumption to a more animal-based
diet, away from foods high in fresh
chlorophyll, has diminished our
health . . Chronic
disease is rampant in this country, with over 70 percent of the population
sick with degenerative diseases. We
have a very serious problem--and a great market place for us to distribute
Super Blue Green Algae‰. People are looking. They have been
disappointed. People in the medical
profession are acknowledging that they don't know what they are doing. They are acknowledging that when given an
analysis by a dozen different doctors, every one, or a majority of them,
often come up with totally different prognoses -- and then of course the
treatments that they give are totally ineffective. Harold
Jones, a Cancer Statistic Specialist, who has spent over 30 years collecting
data in the area of cancer statistics, says that the average life expectancy
of a person who undergoes chemotherapy, surgery and/or radiation, is about
three and a half years; if that person has no treatment, it's 12 years. If one does not take the treatment it is
much cheaper, less painful, and more likely that you will die much later,
looking relatively healthy. There
is a very striking relationship between chlorophyll, oxygen and cancer, and
it is an area that I have spent a lot of time researching and
documenting. I have also been working
in what might be called a "new age" clinical environment. For most
of the last 23 years, I have been living in health resorts and I have worked
with both degenerative diseases and addictions. For the past five years I have specialized in drug
addiction. I have also worked at Dick
Gregory's health resorts for the morbidly obese, where our clients weighed
over 1,000 pounds. Because of my
influence, all of them were using the Super Blue Green Algae‰, and when they
left the clinical environment (and some of them stayed as long as a year), they
all kept calling in for more Super Blue Green Algae‰ because that was the
product that kept them free from addictions; kept their optimism high, and it
also seemed to act as a preventative to falling back into past patterns. The
benefits of crude chlorophyll are especially notable with the drug addiction
problem. It probably has a lot to do
with the fact that you do feel high when you consume it. I got into this Super Blue Green Algae‰
because it makes me feel high, and I like to feel high. All my life I was always looking for ways
to get high-- the highs I’d get from drugs, from abstaining from food, or
just running and running, or going almost without sleep for ten days at a
time. Right now, I like all my states
of awareness; I like being grounded as well as I like being high. There is a space and place for
everything. A
most interesting subject is the vast issue of oxidation. Because remember, oxygen is the prime
nutrient to your system. - you cannot go for more than a minute without
adequate oxygen. Chlorophyll is a
very central molecule for increasing the oxygen availability to your
system. The work that went on in the
30's and 40's in the study of the therapeutic properties of chlorophyll was
forgotten for a time due to the extreme popularity of antibiotics and sulphur
drugs. But about ten years ago the
world started to turn more toward natural medicine. National Geographic dedicated a full issue to natural medicine
and in that issue, it was stated that the future of medicine was in herbology. However, the wrong attitude prevails
because there is a big difference between using the whole-food extracts or
some particular herbal isolates and using concentrated whole food - such as
algae. Studies
with the blue-green algae seem to indicate that the algae has a favorable
impact on AIDS. But researchers are
probably going to fragment that algae in their studies, and then they are
going to be left with isolated factors and they are not going to get the same
favorable results. Attempting to isolate
the healing factors from the algae could end up being counterproductive. ALL the parts in the algae contributed to
the healing, because the healing is primarily an internal work. The body
heals itself when all the proper nutrients and energy factors are
provided. There is so much that is
provided in this Super Blue Green Algae‰ and there is nothing in it that is unnecessary. The
chlorophyll factor in Super Blue Green Algae‰ is ten times that found in
grasses. The blue-green algae found
in the Upper Klamath Lake is the highest source of chlorophyll you can find;
it’s content is 2 to 3 times that found in chlorella or spirulina. This high concentration of chlorophyll
leads to overcoming anemia. Hundreds
of papers have been published on the work that has been done with crude
chlorophyll regarding its relationship to anemia. It has been found that all forms of anemia--including
pernicious anemia and anemia of unidentified sources--responded to the
therapeutic effect of crude chlorophyll.
Anemia is extreme deficiency of oxygen. We cannot live too long without oxygen. The work of Dr. John Gaynor, an
industrial biochemist, notes that high protein colloidal solutions are poor
at absorbing gas. He transformed this
whole metaphor to life forms and raised the question that a high protein diet
might have a negative impact on the oxygen-carrying capacity of the
bloodstream. Experimental tests were
done, and it was shown that the cooked or heat-treated high protein diet was
more devastating to the arteries and blood vessels than a diet high in
cholesterol. The eskimos, when they
ate their flesh food raw before the onset of civilization, lived into their
nineties and still had their teeth and hair.
But once the cooking of the protein and fats was introduced into their
diet, they lost the enzymatic factors in the raw food - then the body had to
supply the enzymes to carry out the digestive process. Within the first generation after the
introduction of cooked foods, their life expectancy dropped into the thirties. Degenerative diseases appeared. There was a very high correlation between
the over 200 percent reduction of longevity factor by going from a high
density, enzyme diet (raw), to a diet low in enzymes (cooked). According to research done by
John Gaynor, cooked protein in the diet clogs up the blood vessels and
reduces their capacity to transport nutrients throughout the body. In fact,
the oxygen transfer capacity can be reduced by up to 60 percent. That is dramatic. What is even more dramatic is the body's
methods to compensate for this problem.
With excessive intake of protein and the consequent reduced oxygen,
you are calling a crisis into the living system. With an oxygen-depleted bloodstream the metabolic reactions are
badly affected. You feel sluggish -
just like the sluggishness you feel when you go into a small room with 50
people and the oxygen level diminishes.
Oxygen is a key factor. The
body has a mechanism to deal with oxygen depletion, and it is called
cancer. Cancer is a survival
mechanism that allows you to live much longer under an oxygen-deprived
atmosphere. Work that was done by a
Nobel Prize winner showed that by taking normal tissue cultures, placing them
in a glass dome and withdrawing the oxygen by 30 percent, some of the cells
died quickly, some got sick and died eventually, and some survived and
mutated into cells that looked identical to cancer cells. Research shows that these cancer cells
have a storage capacity for protein of up to 20 times that of the normal cells. Believe it or not, normal cells already
have a high protein storage capacity.
That's why a person can go on a 60-day water fast without any protein
intake and still not touch the essential muscle organs in terms of
breakdown. When you are on a high
protein diet you create oxygen deprivation.
Under this impact for 20 or 30 years, the boddy could be creating
cancer cells or dissolving cancer cell - depending on what it needs to
function. I
have worked with many thousands of individuals, helping them to get on low
protein/high enzyme/high chlorophyll diets.
As a rule, this kind of diet assures optimal oxidation within three
weeks. Individuals found themselves
to be without any further growth and development of cancer. It would usually take 4 to 12 months to
then reverse the cancer. Otto
Warberger, who identified this mechanism of oxygen deprivation, has been a
recipient of the Nobel Prize on two occasions. Yet still they are predicting that a majority of the people
will die of cancer. The two main
causes of death are heart disease and cancer--and both of them are
preventable. As a matter of fact, all
the diseases that we are being confronted with are preventable. The two most important tools are enzymes
and crude chlorophyll. One of the
powerful things about the crude chlorophyll in the Super Blue Green Algae‰ is
it’s ability to increase your red blood cells, thus increasing oxidation,
enabling you to function in a toxic and high stress environment while
enjoying a clearer mental acuity and more balanced metabolism. Research
has been done in relationship to the toxicity of the environment and crude
chlorophyll. Dr. America Moore, a
specialist in low level radiation, tells us that the impact of the
introduction of the chemical industry--primarily by way of agriculture, as
well as the petroleum industries--is equivalent to the dropping of 72,000
bombs the size of that dropped in Hiroshima in terms of mutagenic
effects. Yet Dr. Chunan Lei showed
with her work that ingesting crude chlorophyll has the impact of producing
immunization against known dietary carcinogens. This research was done at M.D. Anderson Hospital, which is
recognized as the top cancer research facility in the world. Further
work was done by Nobel Prize winner Arthur Robinson at the Linus Pauling
Research Institute. Robinson,
influenced by "the green energy" you might say, as well as
testimonies from myself and a certain woman named Edie Mae [who reversed her own terminal cancer by
changing her diet], did a 2-year study with crude chlorophyll and high enzyme
diets. He showed that when high
enzyme/high chlorophyll diets were practiced in people under the impact of
carginogens, cancer was reduced by a factor of 72. Even
more interesting, Robinson showed that megadoses of ascorbic acid (vitamin
C), as recommended by Linus Pauling, led to lesion formation in organs,
especially in the kidneys, where these isolated nutrients crystallized out
under super-saturated states. (This
finding caused Linus Pauling to become very distraught and angered, and it
even led to a $10 million lawsuit.)
The danger of isolated nutrients is phenomenal. We need nature's balance, foods that have
optimal nutrition. We want nutrition
in the highest concentrated form possible, while also being in it’s whole
state so that we have optimal usage of our nutritional intake. Malnutrition
is a huge problem. One of the major
indicators of this is that indigestion is rampant, as reflected by the
T.V.commercials for Alka Seltzer, Bromo Seltzer, Tums--manufacturers spend
over $100 million recommending these potions, and then when they don't work,
other manufacturers recommend all kinds of deodorants and headache remedies
to relieve the other indications of indigestion. These cannot help eliminate aspects or signs of toxemia, caused
by rotting food that is leaving the entire system in a foul or very
unattractive manner. Indigestion
is a key problem. One of the reasons
is that everybody is into snacking.
According to one of the sociological studies, the average consumer has
22 food contacts in a 24-hour period.
Even the food combining systems that are chosen by the
health-conscious are not much better.
I find that a majority of the clients that come to me are from the
health community and they are sick because they are snackers. Too much of the time they are eating for
emotional reasons instead of for energy.
With digestive enzymes (available through Cell Tech) you will be able
to get optimal digestion out of whatever you choose to eat, cooked
form or raw, thus extracting optimal nutrition. Without residual toxemia, you will be building a stronger
immune system. The pancreas was not
designed to process cooked food. So
your body is being invaded by an army of cooked food, no different than
microorganisms and chemicals, and the immune system has to deal with it. This
is when you get what is called “traumatized post-meal leukocytosis”, with the
white blood cells going up by a factor of 2 to 3 times after each meal. This will not occur if you are taking
these enzymes with your meals, no matter what you have chosen to eat. Many
people have associated me with being exclusively a “raw foodist”. I am not.
There have been many periods where I have eaten exclusively raw foods. But it is the enzymes I have used for 25
years that have made the biggest difference in my life of dietary abuse. If
you think that you have abused food (and if I ever told you the stories of my
personal life), you would see that it was ten times worse. But the enzymes were the thing that pulled
me through, plus the chlorophyll that I used throughout. So now, in my fifties, I still have the
body of someone who is much younger, stronger and vital, and I am healthier
than I have ever been. One
of the major reasons that I actually ended up being involved in the Super
