HONOREE: Lance Corporal Kevin Waruinge, USMC, paid the ultimate price for his country in Iraq in August 2005.

The Veterans Day Parade Group is a non-profit organization, officially chartered in the State of Florida. Our sole purpose is to organize and execute the annual Veterans Day Parade in Tampa.
Originally founded in 1985, the parade has grown yearly and now consists of nearly 3,000 participants and draws an estimated 20,000 spectators each year. There are over 100 units in the parade including thirteen bands, and seventeen floats that travel the 2-mile long parade route each year.
Our Mission: To honor and thank all US Military Veterans for their sacrifices; to promote patriotism in our society; to perpetuate a positive image of the American Veteran; and to foster pride in service to our country.
