My wife and I emigrated to Vancouver, Canada in 1952 from the Netherlands and lived in Vancouver untill 1958. In that same year (1958) , we emigrated to the U.S.A. and settled in the State of California. In 1965 I obtained my teaching credential and began my high-school teaching carreer at Brea-Olinda High School in Brea, Calif. and the next year at Fontana High School in Fontana, Calif. Between 1970 and 1972 I attended Oklahoma State University where I obtained the degree, “ Doctor of Education” in June of 1972. Between 1972 and 1980, I was employed as Director of Vocational Education at the Santa Ana Unified School District. In 1980, I was appointed, Assistant Superintendent. Business Services and Personnel for the San Bruno Park School District in San Bruno, Calif. I have been retired since 1987.
