| Greetings to all Fellow DevilDog that may come across my webpage. I served in the Marine Corps from 1989 to 1993. 1st SRIG, Camp Pendleton CA, & 1st Recon BN. MCT first and then SOI followed. Any MOS eligible before 0321 MOS . I first received my Infantry 0311 MOS, but that didnt seem to be enough. I wanted to do something that not all others can say they did. I felt this is it this is what I wanted to do. For all the pain and sacrifice it was all worth it. Phonys and wannabes will be sought out. As a Marine alone there is a bond with all other Marines, But in Marine Recon there is a bond "FOREVER" This web page isn't for me but for a fellow Marine who I was so proud to call my friend. "SPAR" will forever be watching. We served in the Persian Gulf. One came back and one didn't. My point here is that as Americans we take so many thing for granted. The most important luxary is, "FREEDOM". Freedom has never been free and nor will it ever be free. For there is a price to pay for everything in life. I never thought of the Veterans Day, Memorial Day, Independence Day or Flag day as anything but a holiday untill it hit me. These days are reserved for men and woman who died for this country, OUR country. I can't say i agree with all the things the Government has done over the past several wars, but I can say this. I am sick from serving in the Persian Gulf and the Government seems to want to keep trying to cover there mistakes. Just like Vietnam with Agent Orange. At this time I want to thank all Vietnam Veterans for what they did in the Vietnam WAR. I want to thank you not only as a Veteran of another War, but as an AMERICAN for giving up a portion of your life to help all of us. I will be adding more things to this web page and please be kind if you email me. I am new at this and also a Disable Veteran myself so my spelling and grammar may not always be correct. I also want to take this time to reach out and try and find some of my buddies I served with.
