My beautiful daughter Brynn Ashlee and my wonderful wife Lindsey.
Hello and welcome to my homepage.  If you don't know me, I am the Youth & Family Minister for the    Ocean Springs Church of Christ.  I am originally from the small city of Crossett, Arkansas.  I'm still a  razorback fan and if you get to know the other leaders in the church you'll come to find that out about them as well.  I have a beautiful wife and a remarkable young daughter.  People say that Brynn looks just like me, and I take that as a compliment when I look at her beautiful face.

I am still attending college at William Carey on the Coast.  I don't plan on going anywhere when it is over.  I want to continue to put my focus on the youth here in Ocean Springs, Mississippi.  I've just worked hard for a degree and there is no point in stopping something I've worked so hard for.  I will not let it neglect my love and devotion to these kids though.

Right now I'm looking to put a little more focus on the neighboring Churches of Christ.  I want to get my kids involved with other youth that they know..  They love these other kids, but they don't always get to interact with them.  Whatever my kids want to do, I do my best to make it happen.  We do things often and take at least three trips a year.  One of them being to Youth In Action in Birmingham which is coming in December.  I love hanging out with these guys.  I want them to feel comfortable around me.

My Sunday morning cuuriculum consist of Old Testament stories from Genesis - Malachi.  I do my best to make these stories interesting and fun for the kids.  On Wednesday night I am using a topical theme.  I talk about some of the struggles the youth have today and the ways we can fix those problems.  I inform them of the reasons for it being wrong and I back it up with scripture.  They seem to understand more when you have an open discussion on the subject.  I let them voice their beliefs and feelings toward a swbject, and I voice my thoughts through scripture and study.  This truly keeps their interest in me and my discussions.

I was lucky enough to be born and raised in the Church of Christ.  My dad and Grandpa were always strong in the church and very good at explaining God's word to me.  I thank them for the success and knowledge that I have today.  Along with Jesus Christ for dying on the cross for my sins, my father and grandfather are truly my heroes.  My Grandma Bryant was always truly a strong soul.  She showed me how sweet and gentle a woman can be.  She was always there for me and would drop everything for me.  She was and still is a light in my life.  My mom was always the disciplinarian.  She struck the fear in me and made me question if what I was doing was right.  Most of the time I didn't want to hurt God with my sins, but also I didn't want to feel(and I do mean feel) my mother's wrath.  She made me strong and gave me the will to do what was right.  If it wasn't for my Grandma Sarah I probably wouldn't have survived my Grandpa A.G.  He was always very voistrous about thinks that bothered me.  She always was there to comfort me.  When I would visit, she would cook for 20 people even though it was just her and I.  She is a wonderful woman that I love dearly.  My Grandpa A.G., even though he tormented me, taught me a lot about respect and character.  His antics made me stronger and pushed me to stand up for myself.  They were a big part of my size today.  Not just the fact that he was 6'4", but the fact that they owned a convenient store and I could get whatever I wanted from it helped a little as well.  We'll just say I visited them whenever I could.  She has moved on since my grandpa's passing and married a wonderful and hilarious man named Jim Bob that takes good care of grandma.  I truly appreciate him and love him for being there for her.  My sister is still in the church.  She married a good guy that is on the road a lot, but he has found God and that is all that matters.  They have a daughter together named Bridgette.  She is a handful, but they still get a kick out of her, and a claw or two.  My sister Crystal always tormented me.  She had quite an advantage because of her age and size over me, but we truly enjoy each others company today.

Well, this is my family.  I hope you'll come by and meet my church family as well.  Our doors and our hearts are always open to you and your family.  So come and see us.
