| FAQs ~ Does PIRO actually go on Paranormal Investigations? ~ Yes, PIRO does go on Paranormal Investigations. However, these Investigations are only open to members with Investigator Status. ~ How do I get Invstigator Status? ~ To attain Investigator Status, members must attend a training course held by PIRO during the Fall Semester, as well as complete a Personal Investigation on their own time over the winter break. The Personal Investigation will be evaluated by the E-Board, and those who complete their investigation properly will receive an official PIRO Investigator Badge. ~ When is the training course held? ~ Currently the training course is not being held, however, if enough new members wish to persue Investigator Status, we will try and reserve a room to hold lessons. ~ Can I be an Investigator even if I can't make the regular meetings? ~ Of course! However, PIRO encourages that members attend both meetings, even members who are already Investigators. You can never know enough about the paranormal. We also try to pick a meeting time that will not interfere with classes or other meetings, so this should't be a problem. ~Do I have to get Investigator Status to be a member of PIRO?~ Absolutely not. We welcome anyone with an interest in the paranormal to come discuss the paranormal. The only benefit of Investigator Status is the ability to go on investigations, but PIRO has events for both members with and without Investigator Status to attend and enjoy. |
