Sign up now and get a $25 credit.	Step 1: Get a new email account at Yahoo.com. You need a new email account to register with the programs in the next step. If you do not mind getting a lot emails in your inbox, then you can probably get away with not signing up for a new email account. I prefer not to mix my personal email and my business email. If you are like me, you need to sign up for a new email account. Step 2: Sign up for the following programs that pay you money to read emails... SendMoreInfo.com InboxDollars.com AmazingSolution.com (scroll down after clicking) Ensure you use your new email address so all the mail goes to your business email and not your personal email. These programs will pay you to read emails. Also, use your real home address when you register so they mail the checks to you instead of someone else. Click on the emails you get from these companies to start earning money. Separately, the earnings are small, but together, all of them provide a large payout. In your Yahoo email, you can open all their emails in a new window by right clicking and hitting the "N" button. This way, all the emails load simultaneously and your time is used more efficiently. Some search engines track your popularity. The more your link is on the internet, the higher your site will be. Also, people read guest books, and might click on your link. If you sign someone's guest book, it is better to comment on their site and leave your link subtly, rather than telling them "I went to your page, now come to mine". When you are surfing, and you see a guest book, it can only help you to sign it. If you have the option, while surfing, to exchange links with someone, I would highly recommend it. You do not lose anything by trading a link. You are only helping each other. I would not recommend putting someone else's link on your homepage, however. You should put it on a links page. That way you do not clutter your homepage. Some rank you buy your key words, some by your link popularity on the net, some by how much money you give them, and some by category. Either way, it is important to register with those that let you. There are sites that will submit you to many search engines at once. Here are some sites that do that for you: 1-Hit.com MetaNetPromotions.com When you register, you need to make sure your meta tag keywords in your html are the most searched for keywords on the net. Click here -NEW- to see what keywords most people are searching for lately. You need to make sure, however, that you only use keywords that are consistent with your site content. I will add more ways to register and improve your standings with search engines soon. Flyers, Business Cards, and Signs This is pretty self explanatory. You can use Microsoft Word, Microsoft PowerPoint, or other programs to create handouts and cards to give people you know or meet. This is a good way to help get referrals to your web page quickly. I do not advise doing it necessarily to friends and family because it might be a bit awkward for them. However, if they are interested in what you are doing, I don't see why not. I personally do not solicit friends and family. Sometimes, though, you might have a lot of people you do business with and in that case it is a great idea to solicit those particular people. You can put signs on community bulletin boards at Wal-Mart or at the Post Office, too. You can also stand on street corners and hand out flyers or set up a booth in the mall. There are so many options. If you want free business cards, you can get them at VistaPrint.com. All Paid Advertising Paying for ads: Pay advertising provides very fast hits to your web page and gives you instant recognition on search engines. If you have money to spare, I recommend paying for advertising just to get started. I am not going to pay for advertising until I reach my business goal, but I intend to spend money for advertising as soon as that happens. Almost every legitimate company lets you run advertisements whether it be on their web page or on their mailing lists. Some good examples are Overture.com (owned by Yahoo)-NEW-, Excite.com, SubmitFire.com, Search123.com, Enhance.com, SendMoreInfo.com (sound familiar?).
