Germantown's Veterans Memorial Park the Community Park of Germantown Project 1995 East Market Street & State Route 725 It began in 1972, this area was replanted in 1995. It is the initial floral greeting that welcomes visitors to Germantown and is filled with perennials, ornamental grasses, and bulbs providing seasonal interest with color changes throughout the year. Project 1994 State Route 4 and Weaver Road An island of color greets visitors to Germantown and it is filled with continual color changes as well as textures highlighting ornamental grasses in all their seasonal glory as well as hundreds of bulbs blooming in the spring. | Pretzel Festival Saturday & Sunday, September 26& 27 2009 9:00 a.m.—dark NATURAL “Let’s All Go” The festival has been held each year since 1980 and features handcrafts, food and entertainment, live music and shows. The park is handicapped accessible with sidewalks. Our booth will sell mums again this year. Proceeds from the sale will go to offset the plants and club expenses.
