| And he's out! As you notice there is dark water following him out, this is mostly the amniotic fluid as he was born 'in the caul' and had passed meconium. Passing meconium is very normal for post-dates babies and NOT a sign of distress as it would be in a pre-term or term baby. It simply signifies that their bowels are now working fully. |
