This is MY car.. yep.. Cousin Don now owns his own personal TV & MOVIE CAR!!! I purchased it on Ebay 12-19-2000, and ironically.. Adam 12 was on TV Land at the time... and it was an episode featuring the 68 or 69 Plymouth... considering they changed cars EVERY year.. it was a amazing coincidence!! (LOL) The Green Car is the one I am buying, it is a 1968 Plymouth Satelitte 4 door, with a 318 V-8, and a automatic transmission.. it had 47,000 miles on it, and runs! Not bad considering the price!!! It is almost exactly what I wanted to make into a Adam 12 Replica... only thing that would have been better.. a tan or black interior!!(LOL) I thik it even has Air Conditioning!! I wanted the 318 so I could afford to drive it, and it was probably the most reliable engine, and the most cost effective. It is all original per the previous owner except the transmission, but he has that also still. I was told I needed to fix a turning signal though!!(LOL) But I guess that isnt much for a car as old as me.. I am a 68 model too, and need more repairs then that!!(LOL).. I pick it up in a few months, as soon as I can get some vacation time... it'll be a LOOOONNNGGGGG drive from Michigan to Utah and back!!(LOL) But oh well.. I always wanted to see the Rockies, and go out west.. maybe I can find me some old ghost towns or something!!(LOL) Do some trail driving in my 4x4, etc... the photos of the car restored are NOT mine.. they are what the car will look like when DONE!!! Some are other replicas.. some are the car from the actual series... enjoy!
